not saving

hey, I was playing FFVIII on my ps2 and every time id try to save, itd say "failed to check memory card." and i Know there's room on the card, and it works for other games..... PLEASE HELP!!!

This may seem like a stupid question, but are you using a PS2 memory card?

Yes, I agree with ToD, you should check what type of memory card you're using. PS2 cards won't work for PS1 games.

lol'd maybe your not going to a save point or when your on the world map hehe i remember i never had a memory card and had to play it 3 days solid :eek: never had so much coffee hehe :laugh:
