As many of you are aware of, shocking scenes in movies are no real big thing these days. But have you ever seen a scene in a movie that just made you go…what the fudge? My movie moment is the rape scene in Pulp Fiction…I still have nightmares. The funny thing was…I could stomach a chick getting raped. But a dude…no no nooooooooo!!!!!!!

The scene in American History X where Norton's character tells the black man to open his mouth and place his teeth on the curb and then proceeds to stomp the the guys head into the curb.

I had a physical reaction to that scene. It was horribly disturbing.

The scene with the bodies in the road was so sad I couldn't even cry. :(

Rape scenes always disturb me. My blood runs hot and I feel sick and dirty and usually completely give up on the movie. Not worth it if they have to use that kinda crap to get a reaction. Unfortunately I usually watch movies with my brother. And he likes things to get nasty in movies. So I have to stomach a lotta crap.

Saw I - Amanda with the reverse bear trap on her head. Not gross, but just the thought of it going off.

Saw II - Amanda gets thrown into a pit of needles, and squirms around down there.

Poor Amanda.

The Proposition.

Guy gets speared through his shoulder.
Guy gets head blown off with a shotgun.
Guy gets shot through head while raping woman.

Nick Cave is such a cheerful fellow.

I tend to close my eyes cringe during the mildest disturbing scene.

I think its pathetic when a movie has to rely on psychological shock value to get a reaction. No real substance. Coincidently I refuse to play games of that ilk as well. Entertainment has to have a lot more going for it than that crap for me, 'cause I don't find that entertaining at all.

Its only for entertainment Vyk. Besides if its that shocking or disturbing I probaly won't watch the movie again. Yet I have no problem with the whole shock value thing...as long as the movie has a solid story, substance and fairly good acting.

The rape scene wouldn't bother me that much... seeing a guy get raped would, at most, give me some sort of perverse, sadistic pleasure.

But the scene described in American History X would make me cringe, twitch and cry.

Well I guess that means you're either gay or trapped in the closet. Good for you!!! ;p

Look at the bottom sig. There's rainbow, and three men. Now look at the custom title 'No Guys On Each Other For Me'.

I'm gay, but not getting any... *will soon change title*

My movie moment is the rape scene in Pulp Fiction

Everything about that scene is completely stolen from Deliverance.

For me, every single moment of Last House on the Left stretches what can truly be defined as "entertainment."

I feel nothing but giggles inside when I see stuff like that.

I guess it must just be psychopathic tendencies, or maybe I just have a stronger stomach and a sicker sense of humour than most everyone else.

Yes, Ansem. We know you're gay, and don't give us any straight guys say that about girls in sex secenes because you don't even who it is.

It didn't show anything tramatic, just their faces.

I, Robot. A movie so aweful it does't even need to be talked about.
Then why do you keep talking about it?
