Is it just me or is this very annoying?

Ok. I got to omega weapon, he cast Ultima on my characters doing 7000+ damage to them, killing all three. I only saved in the beginning obviously since that's the only save point. I lost the levels I got and everything!

Also, is there an easy way to get lvl3-4 key spheres? And if you say the Omega Ruins, don't, the monsters never drop them for me.:cry:

You can steal level 4 key spheres from Nemesis. All you have to do to fight Nemesis is capture 10 of every fiend in the entire game, and defeat all of the species, area and original creations. After that, you will be free to steal the spheres off the second hardest boss in the game.

I hope that’s an easier alternative.

I think he was being sarcastic. For the Omega ruins just level your guys up near the entrance, saving every now and then (i usually saved after getting 5 for each character) before trying to tackle the Weapons.

Lv3 spheres: fight the defender's in zanarkand. they more often drop lv2 spheres but they drop lv3 as well.

Lv4 spheres: bribe the chimera brains in the calm lands 245,000 gil. they can drop up to 4 each, making a max of 8 per battle. they tend to appear behind the agency.

money!?: fight mimics in the omega ruins with the gillionaire ability equipped (godhand anyone?) they will drop 100,000 per battle :D

As what Boys from the dwarf said your asking for us to get gillionare and then fight 3 mimics for each chimera brain. and I say he probably needs more levels. Where are teleport spheres I'm at the end of a grid.

Do some of the monster arena quest and level up.

Omega and Ultima Weapons are not hard at all if you are anywhere near to having everyone done with their *own* spheregrid, disregarding any other people's.

Flare, I don't want to summon too quickly because I also want to include all my characters (for level purposes obviously) and trying to stay alive at the same time. Thanks to all who replied!

Yeah, I also learned a way to get 40 lvl3 keyspheres at once, bribe demonoliths

Believe me or not, You will eventually have more lvl3 keyspheres than you could ever want.

save your money for bribing chimaera brain for the lvl4s.

I don't think I'll need lvl 3's for a long time, if ever again. Now to start taking lvl 4s

i personally wanted omega to be almost indestructable as he was in viii, but he wasnt even close to his usual, the fight was easy.

Actually late in the game after beafing some aeons up Ifound myself with limitless LV.1-3 keyspheres but few regulars

I've never bothered beefing up my aeons. They're strong enough as it is.:)

Try casting Shell to your party or have auto shell equipment. That´ll help you against ultima

Without Poisonproof, Darkproof, Silenceproof, Confuseproof, Berserkproof and Ribbon auto-ability, Great Malboro uses Bad Breath on my allies, coz it will have lost 25% of my character's HP, after 4 times of losing 25% HP, all of my chars have Game Over. :cry:

With Auron's Masamune and Tidus in the back row (not in the fight), Auron will have First Strike, switch him with Tidus, use flee.

Alternatively, you can have Auron with First Strike and have him cast Provoke. The Great Marlboro will get steamed and switch to only physical attacks. Works like a charm. :)

Never thought about that. And hey, Auron just learned Provoke.

If you think that's cool, try Provoke with Spirits. They switch to only casting White Wind on the Party.

Ok I feel really stupid putting this but i want to say it any ways.... there was a cheat to get unlimited lvl 4 key shrs but i forget it. *sigh*
