I really find randomness overrated.

There's a difference between pulling something out of nowhere and using a defined set of 'random' things to do or say all the time.

Saying "Bob" out of the blue is not random. Neither is "monkey" or any sort of insult.

Random is good at the right time. Im always spitting random stuff when im with friends or family. Come to think of it I say random crap all the time even when theres no one around. Best random thing I heard lately was one of friends talking about belly button lint...I can't remember the exact words but it was definatly random, especially considering we were talking about graphic designing at the time.
Graphic Designing = Belly Button Lint? (guess it could work :D )

Also, Hsu's sexyness, and feedback are NOT random occurences, we just have no control over what is said. I attribute this to strange people sitting in front of screens displaying some sort of typing skill.

It really depends on what your being random about whether its fun or not. If its random stupidity spurted out to get some attention, then thats not fun. But if its random and interesting or amusing then thats fun. If my own thoughts weren't randomly amusing, my life would be so much more less interesting.
