Lots of stuff, but mostly:
SoaD, Rammstein, Slipknot, Foo Fighters, Motorhead, some ACDC, New Model Army (you've probably never heard of them), Levelleres (another un-heard-of band) and some other stuff.
Rage Against the Machine as well, but I'm not sure if they count as rock. SOme of they're stuff is more hip-hop, but some is more rap-metal, which is kind of like rock... I think.

Linkin Park huh? Obviously you've only heard their radio tracks? The Albums have some pretty heavy tracks on them. Especially the first one. I think where thay are concerned, they make too many remix type songs and thus everyone forgets their heavy rock tracks and classifies them as some sort of hip hop or pop or something. But in reality they are a rock band.

Heres my list of Rock bands ive been listening to lately:
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Creed, The Offspring, Incubus, Linkin Park, P.O.D. Live, Lifehouse and Underoath.

Don't say that about Fall Out Boy. They were only deemed pop/punk recently this year because of "Sugar We're Going Down's" popularity. They were a little indie punk group with a really loyal fanbase before that.

To be honest, the only reason I said that about Fall out boy was to get on BoB's nerves if he read this thread because he loves them, and he never fails to take an opportunity to play the fucking Rasmus at me 'cause he knows I hate them, so yeah.

As for Linkin Park, well I see it like this. It doesn't matter how heavy something sounds. To me, Linkin Park is totally souless music, four powerchords repeated through the entire song and lyrics and everything just totally made with no intentions other than selling a load of records to angsty children/teenagers everywhere. For me, I like rock music to have power, to have some passion or something behind it. I like it when you can hear something in the music that just lets you know that the guys and gals doing it are throwing their heart and souls into their music, be it with anger or passion or just generally wanting to have a fucking good time. With Linkin Park I don't get that, I just hear the cashiers ringing up the sales.

*sigh* To be fair, some of your lists include some pretty souless stuff that's new and boring, but dressed up like the best thing ever, singing songs about typical SAD stuff that has lyrics that arn't interesting. It's funny how many "cool" bands are only cool cause a magazine said they are. Where's the invention...?

*ahem*
The Smashing Pumpkins, Garbage, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Mastodon, Incubus, Nine Inch Nails,Throwing Muses (Betcha never heard of them) Belly (Anyone?), Pure Reason Revolution (*coughs*), System Of A Down, Queens Of The Stone Age, Chimaira, TV On the Radio, Fear Factory, Weezer, Amen...

There are many more, but I've seen too many mentions of MCR and Bullet For My Valentine to muster the memory.

Yes The Smashing Pumpkins rule. Better than any of these new "rock" bands out at the monent. They had more creativity in their little fingers than anything MCR could ever muster even if they tried for 99 years with them all thinking really really hard at once.

Oh, and I've seen Mastodon live. "Blood and Thunder" is a excellent song.

I'd also like to add Radiohead & Muse to my list...

This name of this thread should probably be "what bands do you listen" to instead of "what bands are you listening" because it'd be pretty hard to listen to all of that stuff at once. Unless you're talking about some sort of playlist.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Leftover Crack and Choking Victim.
