The idea for this thread came to me as I stood up to get a glass of water and slammed my knee on the inside edge of my desk drawers in the process. On my way back from the kitchen, I was still nursing my knee, so I was kind of leaning over with one hand rubbing the knee. Unable to compensate for the awkward position I had put myself in, I managed to clip the doorknob with my face as I came back into my room.

I actually have a really bad co-ordination problem. It only kicks in when there's a chance of hurting myself though. It doesn't affect me when I play Heavy on DDR or whenever I ice skate. I wear baggy jeans a lot, so sometimes I can trip on my own pants but as I've demonstrated in the earlier example, my biggest problem is pretty much just walking into random things. *sigh*

Does anyone else walk into things? :eep:

I always walk into things, big and small. The huge trees and tree pots in middle of the hallway in the shopping plaza, box, dog, bed, ect...
That furniture and such is trying to kill me :(

I'm not clumsy at all. Altho I do tend to knock my hips in to random objects I always underestimate their size. But my mother says its because I have a small waist and infact my hips aren't large they just look large because I have a very small waist. And I probably bash them around because they are large compared to the rest of me so im not allowing for them.

Some days are worse than others. But I do bump into things a lot, usually only in my house though. I also stub my toes a lot. And hit things with my hips. And body in general. But you get used to it, you know?

Always. Before when I was jumpy and afraid of my bigget sister, She was about to punch me and I ran into the metal part of the refrigerator and hit my nose on it insanely hard.

That reminds me of the time on holidays when my sister walked into a glass door. Me and others started laughing ourselves stupid including a three year old toddler who tried to immitate her trying to be funny and fell out an open one. I cried, I laughed so hard.

My dorm room is an Escher-dreamt labrynth of impossible angles, but I've thus far avoided slamming into a sharp corner. It's all relative, I guess.

Back at home, on the other hand, it's more like Dalí. Okay, that's a lie.

This is the best post in the thread.

I used to back out of rooms when talking to people and run into walls/doors. I don't anymore :D
