I've had paid subscriptions to at least 3 other forums, deviantART, Livejournal, and even a freakin' XANGA (which happens to be the most detestable form of web-blogging, just in case anyone was wondering). And I don't use any of these sites nearly as much as I use EoFF.

It would be great if you guys could have some sort of paid option for EoFF. The benefits for both the site and the members are obvious. I've heard that Cid has to be the one to ok all this, but I thought I'd make a thread about this before I hunt him down and nag until he gives in.

And also, the description for the FFXI forum is lame.

I don't see any negatives. I know the limited PM space really annoyed me before; it's seriously nothing and gets filled up so quickly.

I think if there is a demand for it, then there should be no reason not to impliment it. Any visible indication that a person has a paid account would be bad, since it breeds elitisim, but otherwise it would be cool. Sean can use the money to fund the site when revenue gets low, or perhaps run a contest or something. The problem is getting his attention.

You don't need to tick. There's an "Empty Folder" thing at the top that clears everything in the inbox and/or sent messages thing respectively. O_O
