Kidwell resisted arrested, and the lieutentant is even listed as a victim on the report.


Finally, after taking five jolts, Kidwell was rushed to the hospital. She says she's still under a doctor's care.

This officer needs to be casterated with a dull knife. I can't even immagine talking in a harsh tone to an older lady. Someone get me is email, phone number, and ip adress - I wanna slay him :mad2:

All the article says is that she tried to leave and that the report lists him as a victim. Based on the picture, I doubt any she could do anything that would have been worth the taser. He could have easily subdued her.

She was there because she already hit someone and it is possible that she attacked the office while resisting arrest. Just because she's 68 doesn't mean she can't also be mean and abusive. But, if she attacked the officer I can see him using the taser once. Five times...probably not.

There's way too much out of context here. I'll agree five times might have been a bit much. But who knows what this lady did to her grand-daughter. And who knows what she did to this cop. And also, maybe it took five times to immobilize her. You can't just take her word for it. She might be innocent until provent guilty but so is the cop. So no jumping to conclusions. God knows what went on in that room without seeing the tape ourselves. But now it's evidense so I doubt they'll be releasing it anytime soon.

I'm sorry but, Id bout he would just attack her for no reason in teh lobby, There's cameras everywhere in a police lobby. She had to do something besides just try to leave. I'm sure she tried to leave adn ended up kicking/swining. He didn't need to get her that many times but come on I doubt she had no fault in this.
