It's as faithful an interpretation of Amano's design as Nomura could be expected to produce. Everything's more or less right on except for the spiky hair. It could have been a lot worse--bare middriff, tons of belts, etc.

See? They CAN be put in there. They should have been put in the first one >.<They didnt have permission in the first game as Nomura was only allowed use his own designs. So he could only use VII, VIII and X. I guess things changed when the game proved such a huge money maker. I think he might be taking part in a mini game with YRP. Maybe like the host or something like that. And I could be totally wrong about that.

Although I like the new design the only thing that really confuses me is why they gave him spikey hair. Besides that, close the wastecoat and Nomuras nailed the character.

The negative feedback the new characters gotten is very annoying though. Months ago it was "NOMURA WONT USE AMANOS CHARACTERS, ARROGANT BA\sTARD" and now its "NOMURA RUINED SETZER OMG BASTARD CHILD"

This is really beyond awesome. Setzer was one of my favorite characters in that game. And yeah, I also want to see Celes!

For more older characters, Rydia, Locke, Cecil, Edge, Rosa, and Terra. Oh yeah, throw in some Chocobo Racing.

well setzer is a good character because of the type of character he was, he could be used many ways. A good shop owner, technology person with airships, or even a gambler in a casino or some sort. He has a wide variety of possiblities while some other characters may not have offered that really...

I have no real problem with YRP. I'm just gonna wait to see how they play out.
