No! You must teach it a lesson. If you blow on it, you just teach the rest of the food that it's okay to be really hot. If you just go ahead and eat it, then the rest of the food cools off in fear.

I love it when it's hot enough to burn my mouth for awhile. It tastes wonderful! Super hot food is the best. Hot as in temperature hot and as in spicy hot. :D

My brother is the king of complaining about food or drinks being to hot. When we were kids none of us wanted to share a bag of chips with him because we knew he'd keep launching them back out of his mouth into the rest of them, saying, "there too hot!" When he was in a cafe with our mum, she told him not to eat any of the chips yet because they weren't cool enough for his tastes. But then he decieded that they were and shoveled a big mouthful in. Then he spat them all out and at the top of his voice shouted "there burning my mouth!" He was three at the time. To this day we still shout that out if our foods a little above temperature, or even if someone asks how our food is just to amuse ourselves. Im fond of shouting it when waiters or waitresses ask me how im enjoying my meal. But my other favourite one was when he was in a coffee place recently and the drinks were boiling hot. He took one sip and shouted "Jesus Christ! where did they make that hell?!" He was fourteen then.

I've done that a couple of times where it's burned the skin off the roof of my mouth. It does indeed suck, yes. I tend to just blow on it also though.

I usually dont have this problem because i dont really have any feeling, or a sense of taste for that matter, in my tongue. This is because i pretty much completely bit my tongue off once, trust me stiches on the tongue hurt and are annoying.........COME BACK TASTE I MISS YOU (goes and starts crying in corner:kaocry2: )

I hate that! I will eat food that is to hot and it burns, but I am stubborn and swallow the hot stuff, them I am really hot, so I think to myself, wow that was stupid! but I have to eat, because if I go to long without eating I tend to kind of... die.

Usually, I just wait for it to cool. I can't eat food that hurts me. :rolleyes2 Also, I have discovered that letting ramen sit for a while will make it better! Listen to this:

If you let ramen sit in it's own broth for a while, it will absorb the broth, thus making the noodles themselves flavorful! Instead of having a pile of noodles in a puddle of flavor. :choc2:
