Woot... got Diablos. My group of WHM, BRD, 2xBLM and 2xSMN wiped twice... quite pitifully I might add. However, on the last run we all 2hr'd.

It was so tense... he was down to 13% for what seemed like ages while we waited for the second rounds of Astral Flow to be ready. But then 3 people were dead... dangit. Well, we carried on and I was meleeing... me and my weak Bard macroing in all of my melee gear.

Another AF goes off... the only one left as the other SMN is already dead. After this next Tidal Wave he was at 1% !!!!!!!!!!!!!! People are dropping like flies from his AoE stuff and Bio. Finally I manage it...

GL to anyone else trying to get it... he's not nearly as much of a pain as Fenrir honestly. Maybe I'll post some pics later.

My SMN is only level 11, so I have to wait for ages before I can attempt to get Diabolos. I can't wait though. :)

My SMN is only 10... I pretty much refused to level it until I had Fenrir and then I didn't take it far. Maybe I will now for kicks.

BTW... Diabolos is very large. It was basically impossible for me to get an even relatively decent screenshot of him.

Nice work. ^^ I'm creeping up to level 75 for Fenrir. Then I'll probably try and get through to give Diablos a shot. Going to level SMN next I think. ;D

I honestly believe that Diabolos was a much easier fight than Fenrir was. For the most part he's exactly like his capped self for the CoP mission.

He does tend to spam his bad stuff a little more but if you are all 75 you have more ways of dealing with it than you do in a capped fight with him.

From all the news i heard, he does sound easier to fight, however its much harder to obtain in any case, as it does not connect to the other easy avatars, and the cevat is: You need to finish more COP missions.
