Who is the best Non-FFX blitzer

but which Non Final Fantasy X or X-2 charachter do you think would be the best at blitzball

I think from VI Sabin would be good
from VII Barret would be good (shooting the ball)
and from VIII maybe Zell

Who do you think would be a good blitzer?

Well every character in all the other Final fantasy's had to breath to stay alive, X characters seemed to be immuned to the need of oxygen. So i doubt any FF character would be good at Blitzball.

Only Tidus, Rikku and Wakka could breathe under water, actually. This is why any time you go under water you can't change party members (Baaj temple, Mt. Gagazet cave, crossing the Moonflow, etc.)

However, Gau DOES have a shiney that let him breathe underwater...

In FF7 you could get the materia that lets you breath under water, so pretty much any member from FF7 could play.

so in that case i would say Tifa, because seriously she has a mean kick and she can summon dolphins, ALL AT THE SAME TIME. woot.

I'm having a hard time figuring out whether "spikky" is a mispelling or a racial slur.

Any Qu from IX, they just sit in the goals and unless the shots ar aimed perfectly, they just bounce off :), also, they're somewhat aquatic anyway and could probably move quite well in a blitz sphere, just tll them the ball is a big, fat, juicy frog

Technically the shiney thing would be useful for all FFVI characters, making them eligable as well.

Only Tidus, Rikku and Wakka could breathe under water, actually. ACTUALLY that's not accurate. You see, these characters had simply trained themselves to hold their breath for extremely extended amounts of time. None of the characters in Final Fantasy X could actually breathe underwater!

I actually thought that the Ronso Fangs got heavily shafted in blitzball stat-wise. I think they should have had a lot better shooting and tackling power, both of which would make them a lot more effective. It would have been a lot more indicative of their race and racial abilities.
