WANTED: Screenshots for the frontsite. [Archive]

The current screenshots section exists of 11 corrupt jpgs which will have to be removed and 1 other screenshot. So please, screenshots for EoFF!

We'll be checking into whatever text is displayed, too, so make sure if you have anything showing that it's clean, thanks. :) Also, they should all have the Square-Enix logo on them... we want the default screenshots, no captions on them, no Fraps stuff, etc.

EDIT: Oh, and the new screenshots will go up once there are about 12 or so posted and ready. Well, whenever I'm awake and there are that many, anyway.

That makes things extremely limiting. And any screenshot taken through FFXI won't have any text anyway so no need to worry there. But that also makes the screenshots pretty boring.

These are the only ones I could dig up that were taken without Frap.

I think we can handle up to a hundred, however I suppose we should probably stop at that point. :p Not because we can't take more, but more so because I don't think that many people will look that far.

These are kind of boring as I usualy take all my screenshots using the Windower (meaning it has all the menus / chat logs, and no copyright from Square-Enix one it).

EDIT: I'm pretty sure that all of them have had the SE copyright information so far apart from one that someone posted that I just didn't upload because they obviously ignored my first post. :)

EDIT: Someday, my computer hopes to grow up to be just like Omecle's computer.

You could always sign up to RedLotus forums (check my signiture for the link), and go to the screenshots section. We have so many, that it's just not funny. xD;

Anyone can sign up if they want to.

EDIT: Make sure you check out my thread, although they all have the chat logs and menus in them. =(

Are you going to take submissions after the frontsite is completed, so that members can continue to post their greatness. I may start playing again come this january, so I want to know if I should take some sweet pictures.
It all depends on how many we get, really. I definitely don't see the point in having over 200, that's for sure.

EDIT: All of those submitted so far should be up shortly.

Just a side note it seems the FFXI section is missing alot of pages and has misinformation..(like..BST doesnt have those abilities at ALL)..>_>; they be changed too?

One of them I think I put up (fountain one). One of them had no copyright text that Roogle has insisted on every image having, one of them, had a whole lot of weirdass numbers and one of them had a FPS rate shoved onto it. :p

It looks like that page got a little messed up during a server change awhile back. Its entry was probably truncated and it looks like it's just the same as what Warrior gets. If you'd like to submit information for that section, though, you're welcome to do so. We are reluctant to have user content for that game because many people play it for a brief amount of time and do not have full exposure or a deep understanding of the gameplay mechanics.

And no, we are only accepting screenshots using the standard format that Square Enix provided to us for taking screenshots. We don't want pictures with Windower showing, either, as that's against their Terms of Service.

Yeah, that's fine. If you want to correct anything that is on the current section right now or start your own page on that section, just start a topic in the Site Staff forum and start typing away!
