It's hard for me to pick a single song of the year since i'm more of an album person.
I'll go with "Sufjan Stevens - John Wayne Gacy, Jr", since it's from my album of the year. "Illinois"

Well the song I've loved all year came out in 99 so the song that came out this year that I love most of all would be... Nas MC Burrial (don't body yourself)(50 Cent diss). Sucha good beat and the fact it's dissing 50 just makes it that much better :D
These didn't come out this year, and I probably won't remember or list them all since I'm looked at my Top 25 Played List, but:
Dresden Dolls - Girl Anachronism, Thirty Wacks, and pretty much EVERYTHING by them
Tori Amos - Winter, Cornflake Girl, Me and a Gun, Lust, pretty much everything by her
Brand New - Okay, I Believe You, But My Tommy Gun Don't
Utada Hikaru - Exodus '04
Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer - Argh... I'm A Pirate
Lacuna Coil - 1:19, Stars
If you can play a bit, many sites offer sheet music for you to practice on, you would be amazed what you can reproduce and alter once you have honed your talent....HELLO TSUKASA!!! :):moomba:

Hundred Reasons - Kill Your Own
Or maybe, Wolf Parade - Dear Sons and Daughters of Hungry Ghosts
Though, The Rakes - Binary Love kept me addicted for like, a week, so that should be up there.

Tori Amos new stuff was good.
Bright Eyes "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning" I liked all of the songs on that album. Also Digital Ash in a Digital Urn by Bright Eyes. Take it easy from that album was awesome as well.
