I would say Batman, he was the first comic book superhero I was introduced to as a kid and I find Bruce Wayne/Batman an interesting tortured character.

tough call, I like both Batman and Superman the best, but only Burtons batmans were good, while all of the Superman movies are great.
And while Batman had a better cartoon, he cant compare with the TV series of Superman.
And Superman is just cooler anyway

Why does Catwoman suck now? She's probably the strongest female character in the Batman universe. True, she had a crappy movie recently.. But Batman had two and people forgave it enough to see Batman Begins.
