I was going to play it this morning, but my PS2 is a heap of junk and doesn't want to read the disc anymore. :rolleyes2

been there done that, got all sidequests completed. Took so many breaks during the game because some of the misions are frustuating.... and when I mean frustuating, it's not a good thing. But it's fun none the less.

I thought it was poor compared to Vice City.

Yep VC was way better, I think mafia theme is way better than gangsta.

I haven't beaten it yet. I play it for a little while and then I start playing something else and come back to it months down the road.

Got to the last mission and haven't played it in a long time. I mostly found the story after you leave Los Santos wasn't very compelling. Apparently I'm supposed to be looking for a way to get Sweet out of jail, but I really do everything but that, and everything about Las Venturas felt tacked on. Thought GTA3 and Vice City were both better as a result, even though the game is still fun, especially in the beginning.

The problem I have with the latest of GTA's was that it wasn't mafia kinda style. It was just thuggish, which is still fun and all, but I'd rather be playing with someone named frankie figgs or tony D. Ya know?

I did nothing for two weeks but play this game when it came out until I completed it, and I loved it, but i've hardly touched it since. Vice City I played for months afterwards.

and Vice City's radio > San Andreas. By so, so much.

I haven't even PLAYED any GTAs (only watched people play them) and I can agree with whole-heartedly.

It gets flicked on every now and then, it's a fun way to kill half an hour if needs must.

Killing people gets boring once you've done it so many times... that's when it started to get boring for me!

killing innocents is always fun but I never completed the game itself.

I got burnt out in San Ferro(was that the name? I forget). I enjoy the free roaming but I just got burnt out on the missions. In Vice City, each mission helped your character rise that much more in power and you really wanted to see where he went. When I say power I mean station in life. Remember when you finally got the mansion and you tell your buddies how you all are gonna take over the town? that was cool. Carl Johnson just seems like he is jumping from one story to another. I just wish you could swim in Vice City.

Oddly enough, I actually did start playing it again sometime last month. I'm currently in Las Venturas. I'm going pretty slow because it doesn't have as strong of a replay value as some other games, but it's still one of the best games ever. I did enjoy Vice City more though, I'll admit, but that might be because I lost my GTA virginity to that game.
