Which one was easier for you?

Did you find ffx easier to beat than ffx-2? Or is it the other way around? For me, I have to say FFX-2. I finished that game in about four-to-five months, compared to FFX, which sadly-I still haven't beaten.:eek: :(

on the whole, 10-2 is easier, but as far as sidequests go, i would say 10-2 for you have to complete all the sidequests to get the perfect ending, in 10 it is optional

X-2 took much less time to complete. Mostly because you probaly just wanted to get done with it as fast as you could though.

yeah 10-2 you can beat faster cause all the "hotspots" are picked out to get everything in 10 compared to 10-2 I don't know fighting the magus sisters wasn't too fun on the way to veganagun(argh 60% done I have to use advanced play to get the ultimate ending cause I only did a few side missions like monkey mating catching o'aka comspheres etc.)

I got more game overs from playing FFX the first time than playing FFX-2 (I think the only time I died on FFX-2 was against the final boss. Yes, I know that's lame but I got confused) On FFX, several bosses slaughtered me - I'm looking at you, Yunalesca - whereas none of the regular bosses on FFX-2 posed a threat. So FFX-2, definitely.

yeah im gonna hav 2 go with devil's pheonix. i clocked X-2 in lyk 2 months it was soo easy. and ive been playing X for lyk 2 years but thatz becoz i couldnt get past a part and i stopped playing ..... then i got past it and im stuck on another part![lol] and i havent clocked part X yet...

X-2 was impossible to beat... im only like 10% through it cuz i cant get past how incredibly gay all the chars are... FFX is ez though its only a couple of days

They were both pretty easy. X was easier when it came to finding out where to go, there was a red arrow telling you where to go. Even though there was one in X-2 aswell, I still found myself getting lost. But when it comes to the battles and bosses, X-2 was easier.

Overall X-2 was easier and shorter. To kill all the dark aeons etc and monster arena is waay harder then Via Infinito on X-2!

FFx2 is way easier!!! i have played it twice so far and it didnt take me too long, FFX however i have played about four times now, and it takes loads longer cos its harder to level up, by the time you fill your sphere grid with everyone, then go back around it filling in the gaps with attribute spheres it takes forever, then there is the sidequests for the celestial weapons they can take forever!!!! and FFx was much better (except i liked the alt ending to ffx2)

BFTD beat (I think it was him) FFx-2 twice in one day, and he hates it so he probably took breaks as he played... incredibly easy game (someone some day should do a challenge, maybe straight white mage party with no accessories or something)

FFX had a few bosses that could pose a challenge. People have had trouble (including me) with bosses like the third Seymour or Yunalesca the first time through. I tried not to use aeons much, and so never used an aeon sac strategy. I also always healed zombie against Yunalesca because it's a negative status effect and got pummeled by mega death a few times, then I beat her without trouble, but still it took me a little while.

X-2 was definitely way easier, you could beat the game in your 40s or 50s without much sweat. Plus the whole replay value add-in pretty much assured you'd get through it without much pain or punishment.

Go to Game Options and configure your battles to wait, to the slowest you can set it to. The new battle system where your enemies can attack during your turn takes a while to get used to.

And use Yuna's Darkness dance in all battles, as your opponents will miss all attacks while you kick their butt!
