Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.

I loved "AoS", and I know this is built around the same type of gameplay.

but, this one has purdier visuals :)

Yes. Especially if you loved AOS.

Yes, it's why I bought one! There are plenty of other cool games too, like Mario & Luigi and eventually FFIII.

Yes, in fact if the DS was simply a handheld toy that only played Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow internally it would still be worth it. Dawn of Sorrow is undoubtedly the best game in the Castlevania series, in my mind.

After SotN. :)

I don't buy systems for one game, but for many games. The DS has a lot of worthwhile games. DoS is just one of them. Awesome game.

I liked Dawn of Sorrow better than Symphony of the Night, actually. However, that could have something to do with the fact that I'm a worthless excuse for a human being and I've never actually played Symphony of the Night.

The only things SotN has on DoS are a CD-quality soundtrack, a higher number of rockin' bosses, and the occasional instance of superior art design. What's most important is that DoS is more fun to actually play.

I'd say cooler castle too (for SotN).

Get Castlevania, then Mario Kart, Advance Wars, Animal Crossing, Mario & Luigi, Sonic Rush, Kirby Canvas Curse, Meteos, and there are plenty more good ones depending on your taste

if you like the game get it even if it is on the inferior system, come on the screen is smaller than the GBA screen.

No, it's actually rather larger. And this isn't a PSP vs. DS thread anyway, so this line of discussion can end right here.

I'm bitching about the Ds's midget screen, it's tiny, barely visible to the naked eye! XD.

I'm getting a DS anyway, I had to get one to get the best of both.

I played Castlevania once, it rocked.

The DS screen is fine. The PSP screen does display stuff a lot better, but the DS screen isn't too small. Not by a LONG shot. Plus, it doesn't drain the hell out the battery like the PSP screen does.

Sorry Kishi. I couldn't let that one go.

I have a question. Is it worth selling my PSP for a DS?

That isn't what this thread is about. Start a new thread already.

Puppet Master. Oh, and Gergoth. Dinosaur Zombies shooting lasers = happiness.

The vast majority of bosses in DoS are rockin'. SotN has a higher number of rockin' bosses, but DoS has the better ratio of rockin' ones to lame ones.

lets not forget about ffIII!!! (assuming they dont hog it and actually give it to the rest of the world..)

i would buy it just for that reason!:D

plus, it doubles as a GBA. (built in light!) plus, stereo sound for gba. (it has two speakers)

one thing i wondered though, can you use it as a controller for gamecube? (i never found this out.)

The DS can't be hooked up to the GCN/GBA cable. It doesn't have a link cable port.
