Mogs and Moogles?

I can't tell them apart, and I don't know which one is which.

Mog is just a shortened name for Moogle.

True and untrue.

Mog was the name of a moogle in several games. However, FF7 refers to the species itself as "Mogs".

Mog is the name of one of the moogles in many ff games. some people like to shorten moogle to mogs as well. no difference really.

I always found "Mog" better than moogle...

I can go with a mog being the singular form of moogles.

You must be from bizarro world...

Mog is a proper name, moogle is the species. Square broke your translation. Deal.
