hello EoFF forums :D

Just today i heard about this game, and since I am an avid FPS/CS fan, I would like to try out this game, but i dont know if it is good enough...can people here who have played the game tell me if it is worth it than playing Counter-Strike, or does it suck? thanks a lot for the info guys!

It's awesome. I'll just say this: you'd better hope you don't run into Panda Squad during a match. My friends and I will destroy you.

Also, CS is for losers. Don't play it, BF2 is way better. VOIP can be tempermental sometimes, but don't worry about that. It helps but you don't NEED it to play. Sometimes it pays off to just go lone wolf.

its a sweet game when its working but its a bit buggy even with latest patch and you better have a decent comp to be able to run it :)

Having played both CS and BF2, I can say that both are great games for different reasons.

I verfiy this claim!

BF2 is definately worth it. I'm not a hardcore playing by any stretch, but I still like it. And there is nothing better than getting on a roll and tearing half a squad apart in seconds!

My fave levels are Sharqi Peninsula and Zatar Wetlands. Zatar is so awesome when you get into the MEC's AA and drive about ripping planes and choppers to pieces.

BF2 is great... but it's a real system hog... if you don't have PC good enough, it takes forever to load up and is all choppy... but if your PC can handle it, I prefer it over CS. The team aspect of it is a lot of fun.

put it this way if you have less than 1 gig ddr ram dont bother trying to play it or choppiness will rape your experience even if the rest of your comp is decent. its possible to play it with less ram but only if you have 8 mb cache hardrives :P trust me on that im speaking from experience.

I've wanted to play BF2 ever since I saw the .gif thingy. The one where everyone on the opposing team stands in a straight-line and the Jeep just comes up and owns 'em all. I would play it, just to do that.

I was thinking about picking it up the other day, but I'm afraid my system wouldn't be able to handle it even at low settings. Most people recommend 2GB of low latency PC3200 RAM or above.

lol i have 2 256 sticks of mem their ddr 266 overclocked to 333
and i have a 512 stick of ddr 400 underclocked to ddr 333 speeds and bf2 ran fine before the latest patch but yeh low speed ddr can run bf2 fine if you have a gig of it :)

my comp struggles on med settings with the ram above and a 2800sempron 333 fsb cpu and a geforce fx 5900xt the games playable on medium tho could be faster :)
