Okay, in this thread I hope you can all just pretend you don't have a gang, so it's easier to organise things.

First, read the announcement.

1) Ideas are welcome, however I'd rather you PM me with them so I can check them out easier and surprise people with the ones that go ahead and not disappoint people with the rejected ones.
2) I may be in a gang but I won't run it. In case you're wondering.
3) I want hierarchies, so I suggest you at the very least decide on leaders. Good luck with that much. :D
4) Nobody will be choosing gangs, at least not anytime soon.
5) If you do NOT want to be involved AT ALL, PM me saying so.

The leader of each family is known as the boss, or don. All major decisions are made by the boss, and money made by the family ultimately flows to him. The boss's authority is needed to resolve disputes and keep everyone in line.


Sammy Gravano, notorious for turning state's evidence against Mafia boss John Gotti, was an underboss in the Gambino family.

Just below the boss is the underboss. The underboss is the second in command, although the amount of power he wields can vary. Some underbosses resolve disputes without involving the boss. Some are groomed to replace the boss if he is old or in danger of going to jail.

Beneath the underboss are several capos. The number of capos varies depending on the overall size of the family. A capo acts like a lieutenant, leading his own section of the family. He has specific activities that he operates. The capo's territory may be defined geographically (as in, "everything west of 14th Street belongs to Louie 'The Key' DiBartolo.") or by the rackets he operates ("Alfonze 'Big Al' Maggioli is in charge of illegal gambling."). The key to being a successful capo is making money. The capo keeps some of the money his rackets earn and then passes the rest up to the underboss and boss.

The "dirty work" is done by the soldiers. A soldier is the lowest rank among made men. They're part of the family, but they hold little power and make relatively little money. The number of soldiers that belong to any given capo can vary tremendously.

In addition to soldiers, the Mafia will use associates. Associates are not actual members of the Mafia, but they work with Mafia soldiers and capos on various criminal enterprises. An associate is simply someone who works with the mob, including anyone from a burglar or drug dealer to a lawyer, investment banker, police officer or politician.

There is one other position within the family that is somewhat legendary -- the consigliere. The consigliere is not supposed to be part of the family's hierarchy. He is supposed to act as an advisor and make impartial decisions based on fairness rather than personal feelings or vendettas. This position is meant to elected by the members of the family, rather than appointed by the boss. In reality, consiglieres are sometimes appointed and are not always impartial.

The gang sizes were decided before member placement went ahead, and you can't join other gangs just yet (although if you want to PM me with an idea for a "plot" twist, go ahead). It is however possible to kill people off, but that's organised by myself mostly - if you want to do so, just PM me with that as your plot twist suggestion.

Turks Mirage and BatChao were declared dead last night after suffering from numerous injuries caused by an explosion. There are unconfirmed reports that Judges member Bladen drove into Turks territory and, in a drive by throwing, hurled the grenade into a garage after he and BatChao drove back from a night out in the central city. Tensions and now the death toll have been rising ever since a high profile member of the Judges, Primus Inter Pares switched allegiance to the Turks.

Miriel has murdered Loony BoB. The death occurred after BoB walked in on Miriel and one Sexy McAwesome. The three of them reportedly dragged a fight down the stairs into the middle of the restaurant. It was unclear what the argument began with, however there was much shouting about some kind of evil plot. Miriel shot at BoB before he could reveal any further. Del Murder allegedly was trying to calm the situation down when the firing occurred, and had flung himself into the line of fire just a second too early, falling flat on his face a moment before Miriel fired the shot. Some people say he was valiantly defending his gang member, some say he was just trying to save his own butt as he thought Sexy McAwesome was about to fire at him. Others say he tripped.

Yes, but... being allied with the Judges, would mean conflict with the Turks. If we kept well out of the way of both those gangs, then we will be independant, and not have as much danger of getting attacked by either of them. It would also stop any harsh feelings towards us from the Turk side. If we allied with the Judges now, the Turks would have even more want to kill Namingway's, both you and I alike.

Independence does not necessitate neutrality. The Turks have shown themselves to be a brutish gang bent on conquest, and they will eventually harm us agian, no matter how neutral we are. Therefore, allied with the Judges, and as we go stronger, we will be a combined force capable of wiping out the Turks.

Neel, Psychotic, SammieBabe, SummonerYuna, WarZidane, ZeZipster and Kyono were killed by various members of the Fat Chocobos gang today in a shootout. Psychotic was leaving the scene having been tipped off that there was a bomb, however it turns out that no bomb was in place - just roughly ten or so members of the Fat Chocobos team. It is not yet known why they also killed their leader, Neel.

The recent battle between the gangs of Fat Chocobos, Judges, Turks and Namingway's has decimated their number in EoFF City. Corneo's Gang, the Shumi Tribe and the Spoony Bards now make up the most powerful gangs, although only the Shumi Tribe is currently holding any real power in the city. Shauna, having killed Raistlin, has joined forces with Bladen and new name tan. Corneo's Gang now controls the entire central city although Fat Chocobos restaurant is still under FC control, despite cops constantly trying to intervene. The Turks and Judges, having lost the number they required to control EoFF City, have turned to taking on revenge against each other and also the Fat Chocobos. The aggression between these three gangs is intense, as with the aggression between the Shumi Tribe and Spoony Bards. Corneo's Gang remains indifferent, while the cold blooded three of Namingway's Hood are unknown as to their allegiances - if they have any.

<li>Del Snizz, Khaotic, ShlupQuack and the rest of Corneo's Gang renamed themselves to Del Snizz and his Merry Men, and continue to tour EoFF City singing Christmas carols to all it's residents. They also played tennis, crocheted, gave blessings and heightened alcohol tax by 0%</li>
<li>CloudDragon was accidentally run over Del Murder & Miriel on their way to Fat Chocobos.</li>
<li>The Spoony Bards didn't really do anything.</li>
<li>Del Murder rebuilt Fat Chocobos and turned it into a highly successful restaurant, built in a fashion that Neel would have been proud of.</li>
<li>Shauna and Tasura flew to a remote island in the Carribean where they drank martinis and laughed about how splendidly rich they were. Tasura hooked up with a beautiful girl who turned out to be a man. Shauna got ShlupQuack.</li>
<li>Monkey got stood on and died.</li>
<li>VampireCrono took over the world.</li>
<li>Miriel was betrayed and murdered by her lover Del Murder, in retribution for all those she mercilessly slaughtered, including one Loony BoB, who turned out to be Del's long lost second cousin once removed. And thus peace was restored to EoFF City.</ul>

Shortly after Corneo's Gang left, the Shumi Tribe decided to go kick the butts of all the remnants of other gangs around the place. But none of them could afford the bus so Del Murder just took Miriel along with him to Fat Chocobos where she figured she could take over Murd's leaderless gang since it had money.
