Vandal Hearts

I just got this game and started playing it. Anyone here play it, like it? hate it? have comments on it?

I like the system, it lacks the versatility of FFT but has a nice sense of needing battle plans like in the fight where you can't kill the villagers that attack you and you have to continually block their path with the right timing. THe characters seem fun and the story seems very good, even if it's a little wierd to have everyone you talk to talking about the thing that just so happens to come next. It feels a bit linear but I think it works so far, any thoughts on this game? (no spoilers please, or at least put them in tags)

I really like the Vandal Hearts games (Number 2 has more openness by quite a degree, for the record.). I love #1 though, it's quite possibly my fave tactical RPG.

Yeah, the game lacks the versatility, but it really isn't needed. It's a fun game.

I cleared it years ago a great game I think..it has several different endings too btw
