I heard if you answer the guy wrong 64 times in the very beginning of the game when he asks you who your kidnapping that ruby will enter the room and you can fight him. Anyone know if this is true?

You don't fight anyone. She just bursts in the room and remarks on how ridiculous it is that you're refusing to answer the question correctly so the game can progress. It's a bit of satire on those "But thou must!" pseudo-decisions that pervade certain RPGs.

If you answer wrong 639 times and say it right in the 640th, Ruby Weapon will appear at Lv1 with none of his kickass attacks, and you can steal the White Materia from him before killing him. If you use White Materia on the Item menu, Aeris joins your team. Neat. I've done that once. And Aeris kick ass.

You forgot, Aeris comes back with a kickass "Sketch" materia. if you defeat 37 Feathercircles, and then Sketch the 38th one, GENERAL LEO COMES BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!

And General Leo comes equipped with Excalibur II, and Black Materia as an add-on. Use the Black Materia on a battle with 3 Yans, and Sephiroth will join your party. He will kill all the Yans, and gives Virus to everyone in your party. He comes equipped with Masamune (not Zidane's one), and a set of One Winged equipment (One Winged Helm, One Winged Shield, One Winged Armor and One Winged Shoes).

Also, if you do that with Aeris and Dagger in you party, Sephiroth will kill Aeris AGAIN, and her corpse will become Yuna, that joins your party with the same stats and equipment of Aeris, and all of her Aeons.

AAAAAND if you summon the Magus Sisters against Ozma, it will become Cheese Weapon! And then, summon Aeris with Sephiroth for the win!

Well nice to see you can go to www.eyesonff.com and not get lied to. pretty sweet, NOT!! I was just wondering cause people that tried it said nothing happened. They said they tried it 64 times. SO me who posted this thread will say sorry for even doing it, I had no intensions of haveing rumors confusing people. I myself would not believe any of the ruby weapon/white or black materia/ chesse weapon stuff. The only real thing you can really trust is the staff and what they say. MY bad.

You could do all that, or when you get Leo, you can sell the Black materia at that town with the black mages and then you can buy the executioner item, and when you use it Aries sacrifices herself to resurect the strongest power in the universe to aid you, however Kefka doesnt feel like aiding leo, so he kills him before he joins.

I'm sorry but if I'm trying to find out something about a game and I run into these little "jokes" I might think it was real and spend hours trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong cause it isn't working. Then I would probally have to post a new thread about the rumor and then have a big thing happen when we could be truthful. So....

1) the info was very unuseful, except the fact that ruby does come in a room and tell you to proceed in the game. It is not ruby weapon!!

2) I heard if you do this it helps with the 100 nobles thing you have to do. This came from a person I'm not in close contact with but a respectable input found on this thread.

3) It is 64 times and please do not attempt to do this 640 times to find some secret character cause there is non. Some of the subjects on the thread were made up by people that was so unsatisfied by the game they want other people to be disapointed in it too.

It takes a lot more to take time and correct what other people say for the ones who thought they could trust someone. Let me just say this, when you are at a club, bar, school, or work and you hear a rumor you frown upon it. Sure you have no curage to go and stop it sometimes but this is annoynomus.
