Chocobo Training Help

I'm trying to get the other sigil for Tidus' legendary weapon. What is the best way to beat the chocobo trainer in a race with a time of 0:0:0?:confused: I've tried so many times, but I always get hit by those stupid birds!

I try the following:

dont try and get the first balloon if it is on the left. If you try and cross the Champ, she will be ahead of you. I tend to stay straight, this usually cuts her off.

Dont hesitate to go out of your way, and avoid a couple balloons. Soetimes I stay to the right (on the lower level) and then when the screen turns again, I am in position to get more balloons, they see to be in a line.

Remember, dodging for a second, may save you a couple by not getting hit.

Its hard, but patience wins.

and if even if you get hit,don't worry you'll be fine if you collect enough ballons

Yes i got hit by 1 bird but luckily i caught 15 balloons!I guess i was just lucky though:choc2:

Just a note... you actually have to BEAT 0:0:0 and go into negative time to get the sigil. If you get 0:0:0 exactly, you won't get it.

Also, if you haven't got Caladbolg already, if you go down to the bottom of the screen and find the trainer there. Race her, and whether you win or not, the man who usually guards the path to the ultimate weapon at the top of the map will be standing there - from my experience he is always there when you do this. Run up there and grab it while you can! You may be able to board a chocobo first, but I can't guarantee that he'll still be standing there once you're on. I ran all the way across, but I have Peaceful armor so it wasn't such a pain.

Once you beat the trainer, you can get the Caladbolg. You only need the 0:0.0 for the sigil.

If you exit the Calm Lands, you will have to race the trainer again, and beat her (time is of no accord)

I just got it today so my suggestions are try try try and to only get the first balloon if its on the right... if u stay straight you will get ahead of her after the first ballon cuz she turns out of her way to try to get all of them... when u turn right after the initial descent stay kinda to the left and when the birds come cut hard left then right. get as many balloons as possible and when the camera changes do your best to dodge birds without cutting too hard either way so you can get balloons... ive never seeen it done if you get hit twice so not getting hit is your biggest issue... dont worry too much about balloons that you get trying to get them with the time it stuns you and the tiem you gain each bird takes away like 1.7 balloons... when i did it i was at 35.9 with 1 bird and 13 balloons... made it by .1 ^,^
