I like Alexander the most as well, I like It best in FFVII mind....

Shiva, because they always make her so beautiful. But if I had to chose basing on effects, then I'd have to say any summon that grants you higher defense or massive cure (Reflect, Shell, Regen etc.) early in the game when you can't have it in any other way.

[FF7]I like the appearance of Bahamut, but Neo-Bahamut's head is way cooler than Bahamuts. Bahamut ZERO has 2 hair-look-alike-strings on his head, Neo-Bahamut only one, and he has the coolest wings, although Neo-Bahamut's wings are huge too.

There are many differences between the Bahamuts.

Bahamut: no hairstring, megaflare, no special wings, he has a short high squeel.
Neo-Bahamut: 1 haristring, gigaflare, double wings, he has a deep squeel, almost a bark.
Bahamut ZERO: 2 hairstrings, teraflare, triple wings, very long tail and a long deep and low bark (dinosaur-a-like).

Therefore I choose Bahamut ZERO.

Let it be stated once again that Tonberry's "DOINK" (in FFVIII) makes him head and shoulders above the competition.

Otherwise Bahamut and Alexander in FFIX have lovely cinematic sequences.

costly,yes,but still cool.considering the white magic arise costs 50mp already.in-game,ffv's phoenix is not a very bad bargain.
