What came first the chicken or the egg?

for many centuries humankind has questioned themselves with many difficult to answer questions like "what is a son of a bitch", "what came first the chicken or the egg" and "where did I leave that remote?".

After doing some pointless research I have found some sort of answer to the chicken or egg debatement but first lets hear your theories, it don't have to be serious just don't spam, spam makes you a son of a bitch, ok people speak!!

My answer is very technical, how can a chicken be a sonofabitch?

you know when sex cells meet in animals like chickens they produce the first main cell in the egg called a Zygote.

Also there's evolution, DNA mutations is evolution and DNA mutations can only happen in the Zygote stage and the Zygote is in the egg.

Before chickens there were non chickens, slowly they evolved because of DNA changes in the egg from the Zygote cell, eventually after evolution took it's course you got the egg laying funky feathered farm critters we have today.

ok let me explain this again, if evolution is correct than this is it.

in nature, living things evolve through changes in their DNA. In an animal like a chicken, DNA from a male sperm cell and a female ovum meet and combine to form a zygote -- the first cell of a new baby chicken. This first cell divides innumerable times to form all of the cells of the complete animal. In any animal, every cell contains exactly the same DNA, and that DNA comes from the zygote. Chickens evolved from non-chickens through small changes caused by the mixing of male and female DNA or by mutations to the DNA that produced the zygote. These changes and mutations only have an effect at the point where a new zygote is created. That is, two non-chickens mated and the DNA in their new zygote contained the mutation(s) that produced the first true chicken. That one zygote cell divided to produce the first true chicken. Prior to that first true chicken zygote, there were only non-chickens. The zygote cell is the only place where DNA mutations could produce a new animal, and the zygote cell is housed in the chicken's egg. So, the egg must have come first.

lol, we're not creationists here, I'm an atheist and I stand by the theory of evolution, my theory which is basically basic facts and research put together makes sense to people who believe in evolution, so what if you believe god did it fine by me but going deeper to find what the real fact is is more fun.

Chickens evolved from non chickens ok, but to evolve mutations and changes within DNA are needed and that can only happen within the egg so the egg came first, that sums up that big theory thingy.

The chicken clearly came first. But obviously, there were many creatures that came before the chicken, until evolution took place. I think it's just clear logic that if matter was just CREATED, a creature with the ability to reproduce would be created, rather than the egg itself.
