What's your favorite song of hers? ((No Doubt songs don't count))

I like 'What You Waiting For?' 'Bubble Pop Electric' 'Crash' 'Danger Zone' Rich Girl', basically... every song on "Love. Angel. Music. Baby."

Also, has she come out with a second album yet?

She's recording the second album right now. No word of when she'll be done or a final title, but for now she herself is reffering to it as "Love Angel Music Baby 2".

Anyway, I like "Bubble Pop Electric" best. Very catchy with it's mixed in to modern retro sound.

I don't like her much anymore. She was a nice respectable artist when she was in No Doubt, even though she didn't have a great voice, but the music and the lyrics were nice. Now, she can't sing AT ALL, and her lyrics are pretty awful. In my opinion, that is. :) I liked What You Waiting For, but that's really it, since it's the only song album where her voice sounds decent. Though she can't sing it live for her life. Thank god for studio editting, eh? Though again, my opinion. :p

I appreciate her vocal talents very much, but I don't appreciate the type of music she chooses to sing along to. Her voice is excellent, but her songs annoy me very much.

If she sang something slower - like a ballad - I'd probably become a fan.

Have you heard 'The Real Thing'? 'Cool' is kinda slow, too.

BTW, the 'Cha-Ching' one is 'Luxurious'.

I'm quite fond of her new take on her music. Holler back girl and Luxurious are good songs...hell all of her songs are good. Ansem...your childish antics in this thread is very annoying...it’s okay to be funny...but try not to insult other peoples post and opinions. Besides, she was just as good when she was in No Doubt...Don't Speak kicks ass, as well as her collaborations with Moby and Eve.

The first was an honest question. I had never heard of Moby, and that song is not on the album 'Love. Angel. Music. Baby.' It's not being funny, or insulting. It's being confused.

The second is just a correction. I'm not trying to insult anyone (ONCE AGAIN), I'm just pointing out the grammatical incorrectness of the title.

So, don't jump to conclusions. WHen I insult someone, you can tell.

I never listened to No Doubt (or heard of them until Gwen went solo, and my friends all said 'I miss No Doubt') and that's why their songs don't count... because I don't know of them...

One thing about her puzzles me: the four oriental girls who follow her EVERYWHERE and are in ALL her videos.

Actually not. While South Side IS on Moby's Play album, it's not the version with Gwen Stefani. That wasn't released until later. I believe it was a single of it's own.

I never listened to No Doubt (or heard of them until Gwen went solo, and my friends all said 'I miss No Doubt') and that's why their songs don't count... because I don't know of them...
Actually, that doesn't make sense. She wrote most of those songs. Just because you never heard them, doesn't make them any more or less her music.

Why would she? She's made more fans and more profit now than ever before.
Maybe to have a respectable career that will last much longer than her being the flavor of the month? At least with No Doubt, her career had some possible longevity. Her current popstar status will only last til the teeny-boppers get bored and move on to a new flavor. She may be rich and famous now, but it's not likely to last.

Those are her harajuku girls and she calls them Love, Angel , Music and Baby or just L.A.M.B for short. She has a song about them in her album which is one of my fave along with what you waiting for, cool and hollaback girl.

Probably what happened was that Play was released in 1999 with the other singer and then Moby and Gwen did their version in 2000. Upon discovering that it was better, they did another release of Play with Gwen in 2000.

'Hollback Girl' seems to be about Gwen desiring to beat the hell out of an ex-bf who is spreading nasty rumors about her.

ST*: *slaps forehead* pervert...

'all boys hit Stefani in her back' are NOT the lyrics to ANY of her songs. The closest line is sung by Eve in 'Rich Girl', when she says 'SEE STEFANI AND HER L.A.M.B.' That's the ony song that ever sings the word 'Stefani'.
...but she does say some pretty weird boy-on-Stefani stuff in 'Crash' and 'Bubble. Pop. Electric.'
