I'd go for the Bahamut-SIN fight

This link claims it to be Bahamut Tremor after the japanese fighter planes, its Bahamut SHIN in japanese. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahamut_%28fiction%29, but it could be wrong since everyone calls him SIN.

My favorite battle would have to be the highway and tunnel chase, best chase scene in any movie I've seen in a long time.

its not wrong, the translators made a (rather dumb ) mistake.

in katakana, shi could be meant as "si", if it were a foreign word...but if it were a japanese word, why change it? silly translators...

anyway, its a tie between the kadaj / cloud fight, and the sephiroth fight.

the kadaj one had the jenova music (really cool) and the sephy one had OWA, really really cool.

And I wasnt correcting you either. I just was messing around on google and found it, many of the sites on Advent Children still call him SIN, which is actually a better name to me, gives the B man more coolness to go along with his horse teeth.

Cloud vs Seph
I liked it cause it was really hi paced with OWA playing, plus it had the two biggest badasses of the entire FF franchise. When Cloud used his new Omnislash I instantly though of the final showdown between the two in the game.

I gotta say that the Tifa/Loz fight was sweet too though. I just wish it woulda been longer.

Cloud vs. Sephiroth looked very good and dramatic, but my favorite moment still remains when everyone fights Bahamut Shin (Tremor), then Cloud joins them, whacks the monster a bit with his sword, and finally everyone helps Cloud up to the sky to slay the dragon. Great scene, and the operatic music playing in the background is also awesome.

Actually in the beginning when it looks like Tifa is kicking his ass Loz is justing toying with her. There towards the end of the fight when he is actually trying Tifa gets her ass PAWNED hardcore. It made me sad. :cry:

I can't believe NO ONE voted for the Cloud vs. Kadaj fight. J.E.N.O.V.A. was bloody playing the background as those two duked it out.

The battle was set up so well with Kadak standing up so high, admitting he's a puppet, just like the old Cloud. The little interjection from the other party members on the Highwind (especially Yuffie) was awesome. Kadaj's huge ass "all-or-nothing" dive was really cool. It's not a very long battle, but I definitely think it's very awesome indeed.

The whole Spidermal like jump of the wall with the petals and the change of the camera focus was great, in Tifa vs. Loz. One of the best moments of the film.

Cloud vs. Yazoo/Loz(Tunnel)

1) They're all on bikes, going at high speeds, yet still using their weapons.

2) They're jumping OFF their bikes in order to attack eachother, whilst their bikes are still moving at high speed.

3) They somehow manage to jump back ONTO their bikes after attacking eachother, which needless to say are still going at high speeds.

4) Two on one, Cloud still pwns them. <-- That was hard for me to say cause I'm a Kadaj fangirl. >>;

Sephiroth vs Cloud was the best.... all, the scenes, their moves, specially when Sephiroth smack down de roof and they fought on the fallin' blocks of the building (well something like that :rolleyes2 ) and the soundtrack was pretty damn good (with guitar solo and all best sound ever!) ... but I also like the fight scene between Cloud vs Kadaj/Loz/Yazoo in Forgotten Capital...

As cool as Cloud vs. Sephiroth was, it was too drawn out. They moved rather slowly, and it wasn't really awesome until Cloud used his limit break. Though it did have a pretty badass version of One Winged Angel.

I was stuck between Tifa vs. Loz, Reno/Rude vs. Kadaj/Loz, and Cloud vs. Kadaj. Tifa vs. Loz won out. Quick-paced fist-to-fist action with wicked piano version of the battle music. Score!

The animation was so spot on, i especially love the slow motion over-head kick. Awsome. To be fair i thought everything about the film was great, a real stunner compared to Spirits Within.
