ok I was fartin around on this site somewhere i saw it said that there was talk about remakeing FF8 on ps2 so this must have been a rumor when ps2 came out i never heard any thing about this and want to know more! ne one got any thing or am i like everyone else on this forum and just hopeing and holding on to something that will never happen?

I never heard of the FF8 one either until recently. They re-did the dance scene with Squall and Rinoa with PS2 graphics.

:D Had to laugh at the bold part.

Anyhow, I saw some of the Tech Demo of the dance scene from FFVIII and it dosn't really look that much different from the original ps1 version. Slightly better I guess but it was kind of hard to see since the version I was watching was pretty crappy quality.

A remake won't be nescessary, the graphics were good enough, and fans who didn't love this game just hated it.

They should remake it and add a feature where we can play as Seifer. During the last battle in Lunatic Pandora, Seifer will defeat Squall and CO and Rinoa decided to choose him instead..

Then he will kick Adel and Ultimecia's ass and replace Squall's role in the ending while Squall will be the one doing the fishing.

i found a video, last month of siefer, raijin and fujin fighting, you know in a battle as playable characters, they were fighting 3 tonberries and one of their gfs was a moomba, but it was in japanese, do you think thats part of the japanese version of the game?
