Ok, so im not sure if this'd go in the ffIX forum or not, but If you talk to the moogle in Traverse Town, he'll say his homeworld was destroyed. so does that mean Gaea (of ffIX, duh) was destroyed???

No.. Despite the fact that FF characters make cameos in KHs, none of the FF worlds exist in the KH universe.

Autumn Rain is right. Leon's bio says that he was ashamed of letting his homeworld be conquered (or something like that), and then he tells you that he lived in Hollow Bastion, rather than the nameless world of FFVIII.
