I've always liked Reno more. He was one of my favorite characters from FFVII--I've got a soft spot for supporting and minor characters. Reno was a lot more fun in the movie, I think, but he wouldn't have been as good without Rude's support. When Rude's glasses broke and he pulled another pair out of his coat pocket, though, I had a good, long laugh.

In the movie Vincent said they were brutally tortured but, alive none the less. He found them and did all that he could do to save them. Apparently, they survived.
