OK so please say what your top 5 sitcoms/comedy's are here and give a little opinion on each one...:D

1.Only Fools And Horses/F.R.I.E.N.D.S.(split it's way to hard to decide for me - I really really love OFAH simply because it has a rare thing to it that makes a REALLY GOOD comedy, it never fails to make me laugh so hard it hurts, yeah and overall a really great show, and Friends is one of my first comedy's I watched, I really enjoy watching it, each character is unique and have there own "qualities", anyway this is a great show to watch, if you don't watch it, watch it now..

2.Everybody Loves Raymond - The first time I watched this was when i was off school, I watched it and really loved it, I continued to watch them, it grew on me and today I can now put it in my list, the storylines are really funny, Robert makes me laugh so hard, so does everything else, a great show.

3.Spoons(this is more of a sketch show than a sitcom) - This is number 3 as it is really really funny, it's a sketch show, it has all sorts from a man who is being held hostage from this woman and wants everyone to call the police, it has the guy who wants to be so alone, he sits himself in a chair in a tiny room in the middle of knowhere, you get the idea, well overall it's a really good show, but sadly it's finished, hope it returns.

4.Malcolm In The Middle - I really like this show although I rarely see it, but the times I have(I've seen about 15 episodes) it's made me laugh, the "mad" storylines are good, I would say Reece is the best character, overall I really like this show.

5.Fresh Prince Of Bel Air - What can I say? I really like this show again, it's really good based around Will mostly, he is a great character to watch, and overall this show is good.

oooooooo fun :greenie:

family guy - they get away with so much in this show. they have taken the piss out homosexuals (of both genders) jews, christians, the french, the english, americans, overweight people and anorexic people, not to mention theie own network and dozens of celebs and other t.v shows. Also you can't beat the classic fat stupid man. and how can you not laugh at an evil english baby and an alcoholic dog. Theres stupid funny, some clever funny, plenty of sarcastic funny, clever wit, dry wit and pun's all over the place. But best of all, is the complete randomness that pops up all over the place. ooooooo i'm getting wet :greenie:

Friends - A very very funny show. But not for the jokes themselves (as usually i don't find these too funny) but because of the characters. Joey is the classic stupid. i love watching his face when he's just beginning to understand what some-one is talking about :D and chandler is very funny with his sarcasm (we love our sarcasm right english people ;) ) and ross possibley the best. He's funny when he thinks he's being funny and really he just looks stupid. His face, his voice and everything he does makes me crack up :greenie:

thats all from me. i don't watch much more t.v than that

Arrested Development.

The fact that no one watches this show and it's been forced to the brink of cancellation many times makes me angry and violent.

1. The Simpsons (hello people?) - greatest TV show in the history of mankind. Sure, it has gone downhill these days, but when it was up, nothing else comes close. Homer Simpson is the greatest fictional character ever created.

2. Seinfeld - best live action comedy, great characters. I think what mades this show special is the fact that the stories were always connected, and it all was ludicrous and outrageous without seeming so, and without caring.

3. NewsRadio - I really loved the characters in this one and also the office setting. Phil Hartman we miss you.

4. Arrested Development - even though this show is young, it has made me laugh more than I have in years. Some great writing and extremely witty. The characters are loveable in the fact that they aren't loveable.

5. Married With Children - I like how this show doesn't care, doesn't need a lesson at the end, not afraid to make the characters always lose, hate each other, and make that funny. I am told that every guy likes this show. Not sure about that, but I love it.

The most important thing about shows (or any piece of fiction really) is the characters. All these shows have memorable unique well-portrayed characters and that's why I love them.

5. Everybody Loves Raymond. I love the words they use and the characters they made for the show.

4. Seinfeld: Might be higher, but i only saw a few episodes, my fav being the soup nazi

3. Chapelle Show: You can tell he had fun doing the things he did. HE gets into all the skits he does, excpecially the player haters ball and the !@#$% family, a family of white people. (Censored for I might get in trouble)

2. Mind of Mencia: He doesn't care what other people think so he speaks his mind freely, making everything thing he says funnier. He doesn't let people who hate him slow him down in the slightest, but instead used them to amuse himself and others. A man who truly loves what he does.

1. Whose Line is it anyway: Every time it comes on you can excpect a wide variety of jokes. With the many different games there is always something funny happening. Expecially since its what the individuals come up with. This show really shows their personality and allows them to joke freely without scripts, which is terrific seeing as how funny the people on this show are. Excpecially collin, good times. Can't believe no one mentioned this one, shame on you.

Seinfeld is my favourite because every episode is funny and memorable. I have so many favourites, including Bubble Boy (I can't face the Bubble Boy!), the Pez, the ugly baby, when Kramer adopts a piece of a highway, the one where people think Kramer is mentally retarded, Soup Nazi (of course) and definitely Elaine Dance. :)

1) Fawlty Towers. Yes. This is the greatest comedy in existence. John Cleese is God.

2) Blackadder. Fantastic. That is all.

3) Monty Python's Flying Circus. John Cleese is still God.

4) Malcolm in the Middle. The only new T.V. comedy that makes into my top 5. I love this show. It's awesome.

5) Only Fools and Horses. Utter brilliance. :D

The Office was pretty damn hysterical at times, so I thought it deserved a mention. Though most of the time it had me cringing. xD
