Hmm... tough question. Though if I had to pick, Lindblum, because out of all the FF towns it's the most memorable.

Though Mysidia would be cool too. I'd set Cecil on Fire.

FFVII - Midgar. There's something romantic (not lovey dovey romantic, I mean it in the more poetic fashion) about people surviving in slums and making it despite the odds. And they're not dangerous ghetto thugs. Just regular friendly people. Kinda nice. I'd wanna help them make something of themselves.

Ohh... good question...

Probably:

FFVII: Either Neibelheim or Kalm. (although, I'd really like to be near Costa Del Sol)
FFVIII: Timber or Winhill
FFIX: Lindblum or Alexandria. Probably Alexandria - I like the city, but Lindblum just seems too busy.
FFX: Luca or Besaid. Luca, just for the entertainment factor, but Besaid for the beach!

FFVIII - Balamb Garden!!!! If not there, Balamb, Esthar or Deling City, to tell ya, there aren't many places in FF8 that I would hate living in

FF2....citywise, Salamand, I love ice and snow...or maybe around Deist..
FF3....probably Salonia..
FF4...THE TOWER OF BABEL IS MY HOUSE! ZOMG!...seriously, probably around Fabul, somewhere where it isnt plauged by deserts and stuff

Icicle Inn-I can ride snowboard everyday but eventually let myself be a guide to cloud, send them to whirlwind maze.

Treno- I could be noble there and secretly know Kuja's secret and sell it IX party for high price. Maybe I were forced to be a slave.
Madain Sari-If only I can summon eidolon............
Black Mage Village-Background music are cool and It's BLACK MAGE HOME, then it's my home too.

Conde Petie or THREE kingdom of mist are good but later destroyed, maybe I will die at that time. Can I stay at Northern Crater, MEMORIA or Crystal World. JUST TO BE A SELLER FOR THE PARTY AT THERE.:D

FFVII...by the mountains of Wutai.
FFVIII...seems to be much more to see in Timber than Deling City.
FFIX...Alexandria, Lindblum, or Treno.
FFX...well Zanarkand is gone, so take me with it, xD.
FFCC...i don't remember any names, but i'd live with the Selkies.
FFTA...um, there really isn't a town i can take a stroll in.
FFXI...Windurst seems at best to begin my journey.

Both would be sweet to live in. They both have that futuristic feel to them which I like
