Mine was only just over the record. 500 and something. I think Gunners Gauntlet was probably the best mini game on X-2. It was fun.

Yea, it was 4487.
And I haven't tried the first person GGaun, the prizes don't seem worth it...I'm surprised how easily I got my score though, what I did was rush and kill them until they all came at me in one giant group, then I just shot a Volley once they all got close, and every group dropped at least one volley, I even finished with 45 seconds left, so I might have been able to get 5000+

I'm surprised, it only took me 4 tries...and the last try, i only beat my score by about 500 points.

I'd play it if you could shoot anyone other than a fiend, unless its Paine, Rikku, Leblanc, Yuna, etc...
Now I would love to "accidently" fire a few rounds off at Beclam or Wakka. ;D

I can't even get the 500 score with the Gunner gauntlet. Is it absolutely necessary to complete the gunner gauntlet?

The game acted up when I played Gunners Gaunlet, so I never completed it with a decent score.

3300ish. Gunner's Gauntlet is the most fun I've had in any FF game. The first few levels are rather dull, but when you get to about level 5 it gets really fun, and level 9 is just crazy.

When your each Level- MAX its absolutly insane. I saved my volley shots until i saw another Helm running towards me, that way i knew i always had a volley with me,.

I never got past 1,200! Is it true that new monsters show up after 1,500 ?

And yes, you do need to beat Beclem's score at least once on chapter 2 or you wont get 100% completion

Playing that is easy work. I mean, in my first game that I played, I got 700. I kept running up and down the path with the bridge.

You only need a score of 2800 to get the Adamantite, I got it. What sucks is that since your Gunner's Gauntlet score carries over in a New Game+, you can only get one ever.

Yea, I realised that soon after I posted. I was thinking of the weapons from the Speed Square in FFVII.

Its no great loss anyway, as the Iron Duke can be obtained multiple times and is generally better than the Adamantite.

I HATE this minigame.......SquareEnix and their dumb minigames........it's ALWAYS been that way..so I wasn't surprised. I got between 900-1200
