Sure it can happen. You don't have weapon power, but you have your strength and your random strength attack plus your armor power and any item power. All that enchantment means is that your weapon is useless for three rounds.

Getting all the level 20s is easy compared to trying to find an enemy that YOU DON'T KNOW EXISTS. >=OOOOOI'd actually say it's the hardest thing to do in the game, seeing as how there are special panels to encounter all the dark enemies and superbosses.

edit: as proof, I provide statistics of one of my excursions into Del Murder's cave (where I met all my other LV19/LV20 encounters):

Encounters:
LV10: 17
LV11: 16
LV12: 29
LV13: 20
LV14: 21
LV15: 17
LV16: 13
LV17: 7

In conclusion LV19/LV20 have way too low encounter rates. When I can encounter superbosses more often than regular enemies, I think that's a sign. The LV17/LV18 encounter rates are fine, which is why when I was playing v3.1 there was no real issue about this.

Just to make your life a little easier; the Gooey Toast is only dropped on the World Map, DocFrance only in the cave and Mirage only in the tower.
*tried to make "collect Gooey Toast/DocFrace/Mirage" quests make you explore the whole world*

I was just thinking of parallels to other games, you know, where you kept fighting Vlakorados in FFVII to get a Carob Nut to breed chocobos? Stuff like that. The drop rates actually aren't that bad though, I just thought it would be a neat thing to program in. :) [ / nerd ]

edit: I also thought of other nerdy neat things to slip in, like, if you forget to pick up an item in a square, you could go back to that square and get it, or have a high chance of finding it when you revisit that square, or something.

If you really want to beat the game as a druid, go to the one with the domain name and every time you die, select "OK" and then hit back after it sends you there, it'll have everything there and keep everything. That's the only way I was able to do it.

4. How do I get X townsfolk to respond to me?

Some of them explain themselves - I'll provide explanations for Denmark, Raven Nox, and Spuuky.

Denmark is the one in the lower left - once you level up a certain amount <font color="#FF0000"><b>20 of strength, agility and life</b></font>), he'll offer you a sidequest to collect some items. Bring him those items and you'll get your first class upgrade.

This event will trigger Raven Nox (<font color="#FF0000"><b>Once you have 30 of strength, agility and life</b></font>)to respond to you - in the lower right. She'll ask you to bring her items, so yeah, do that and you'll get the Demigod class change.

This again triggers Denmark, but he'll ask you to level up more (<font color="#FF0000"><b>Once you have 50 of strength, agility and life</b></font>). Then bring him the items he asks for and you'll get a class upgrade. Denmark again offers a sidequest, and once that is fulfilled you will get your final class upgrade and you will unlock the Optional Bosses.

To trigger Spuuky (in the lower right corner), you must kill Loony BoB. You must use the Rye. If you use the TasteyPies, the event will not trigger.

6. I beat the game and beat all the enemies and it still doesn't say 100%!

Well I've looked at adding a save feature but it's not going to happen for a while. There's a lot of data that I have to store and I have no care to try and keep track of it all in the database right now. If I was going to go through all of the work of making a save feature I'd probably just make the game a php-based game rather than javascript. I'd rather keep it javascript because I'm trying to limit going back to the server multiple times, which is what would happen in a php-based game for the most part.

For those of you that are wondering about the status of "This is a Game", it's going to be a couple of months until the next release. My plans for the next release are pretty ambitious so I want to take the time that's needed to make V5.0 as awesome as it can be.

A sneak peak of what I want to do:
<font size="1"><i> - Magic and magic classes
- Add Magic stat (along with strength, agility and life)
- Add Magic monsters (battle either on strength or magic)
- Make the game board 3 x 3 screens now (i.e. 9 screens of 7x7 tiles, 9 times the current size)
- 4 elemental temples each with an elemental seal needed to complete the game
- equipment stats will vary (ala Diablo)
- character status screen
&nbsp;&nbsp; - more equipment slots to hold extra weapons and armor and items
&nbsp;&nbsp; - equip and deequip weapons, armor and items
- character save and load
- leaderboard for character rankings and bragging rights
- midi background music
- And a whole slew of more equipment, story items, quests, events, enchantments, etc...</i></font>

As you can see I have big plans for the next release and I hope to make it a jaw-dropping release, or at least as jaw-dropping as I can. I'll post updates as time goes on and maybe toss in a teaser here and there. ;)
