How about making topic titles that aptly describe the debauchery inside?

This thread is a perfect example how not to name a topic.

The new topic is: Why do some people give threads meaningless titles that don't have anything to do with the discussion.

I do it because I hate the idea that any of you may be happy, so I enjoy wasting your time by forcing you to read a thread that has no relation to the title.

Every angry comment is like oxygen to me.

Hell hath no scorn like Lindy making misleading thread titles. :(

It's "Hell hath no fury [...]", the "scorned" part follows that.

Nothing gets to me more than when people misparaphrase William Congreve.

"Heav'n has no Rage, like Love to Hatred turn'd, Nor Hell a Fury, like a Woman scorn'd."

Happy now, with your perpetual pedanticism!

I am a prime example of how giving threads apt names rarely works.

Dystopian society set in the not-so-distant future where thought and action are controlled by an ever-present entity watching over all people. We'll call it I'm Watching You.
