View Full Version : I need a place to buy Oreos online

Lindy

Seriously, not a joke, no witty, snappy response.

I need a website to buy Oreos from, one that ships to the UK, preferably quick and relatively cheap delivery.

P.S. What's the oddest thing you've bought or considered buying online?

Can I ask why you need oreos?
i am just curious.

Lindy
01-14-2006, 06:25 PM
Because I like Oreos.

Duh.

So I take it that you are overly obssessed with oreos and that in your country you can't buy any because it is either a forbidden food or not even existable?

Lindy
01-14-2006, 06:27 PM
Not obsessed, just I haven't had them for a long time.

And I'd say it's pretty clear from y'know, reading my first post, that I'm in a country where I can't buy them, because they're not sold here in the UK.

These are cruel times, indeed, if there are children in the world who have yet to taste the deliciousness of Oreos. Seriously.

I lol'd at Gourmet Food.

I'll try it out, and Amazon are usually good for delivery times, every time I've ordered something from them, it's turned up anywhere from a month to at least a few days early.

The following items can be shipped to destinations outside the U.S.:

books

DVDs

music

VHS videosThis is as close as I've gotten. They've got the Oreo candy bar, chocolate-covered Oreos, crushed-up Oreo topping, double-stuffed mint-and-cream Oreos, double-stuffed peanut butter Oreos, and the Oreo cereal, but no straight-up default Oreos.

Lindy

Damned things, pulling me in and then leaving me dry.

I'm willing to trade McVities Jaffa Cakes with anyone in America for Oreos.

BoB had a good site that had Mt. Dew and good soda from the USA that shipped to the UK, but I forgot the link and I'm not sure if it does Oreos too. I'll ask him sometime. :)

I'd send Oreos (since I'm not crazy about them, but my family has them), if I could though. xD

Yeah Towns has this site that ships all sorts of American foodstuffs. I'll ask him for the URL next time I can get ahold of him, if he doesn't see this first.

There needs to be a site that sells Penguin bars to the USA.

You guys would glady become a colony of ours again if we let you sample some Penguins.

That site makes me want Sierra Mist, which is the most godly drink ever after Arizona Iced Tea, in my opinion. If you have extra money and live out of the US, give those drinks a try. Sierra Mist is like Sprite, but better. Arizona Iced Tea is the best Iced Tea that I've ever had the fortune to drink.

EDIT: Actually, there is no Arizona on that site. :( But there is Sierra Mist.

They sell them a block from where I live. *laughs at France's superiority to England for Oreo shopping*

I searched a little and saw that waitrose.com (one of the official Oreo retailer in England) sells them online aswell, through e-grocery-shopping partners.

You can't buy oreos? How can you live without oreos? I don't know if I'd trust food that I bought online. I know it's packaged and everything so it's perfectly fine but it just seems odd to me.

I was craving for oreos when I saw this thread and realized I had a bag right beside me. So this is a pretty good day. xD They're really good cold for some reason, not frozen, but if they're kept cold. Maybe I'm just weird. Milano cookies are good too, not too many people have tried them because they're somewhat expensive, but I can't seem to find them anywhere anymore. :(

There's this great store in Aberdeen called Globally Sweet where they sell Oreos, Hershey's (yuck,) Lucky Charms (for Ł8 a box!) and Halva. They also have an online store. http://www.globallysweet.com/

Shame I moved to Glasgow. :(

Well not in mine, or the exceptionally goddamn massive one nearby, so I guess you're just magically %^&*ing special, aren't you?

I'll try Waitrose, since that's actually in England, as well as Rye's suggested site and the Scottish one suggested too.
