hey, hey, hey, save that for the quote quiz.

Ace14

Yeah he's right that belongs in the quote quiz thread.

TheSpoonyBard
03-13-2006, 02:25 AM
Very well then, I'll change it.

What is the damage formula used for a Tonberry's 'Everyone's Grudge' attack?

Dell
03-13-2006, 03:45 AM
depends on enemy that the character killed just like KARMA attack by tonberry?

TheSpoonyBard
03-13-2006, 03:47 AM
Incorrect. I'm looking for a more specific answer.

Ace14
03-13-2006, 05:59 AM
I have no idea what you're talking about because I've only fought a Tonberry once and I ran, oh well.:D

Twilight Edge
03-13-2006, 06:29 AM
Uhhh...depends on the number of tonberries killed?

Dell
03-13-2006, 02:09 PM
Max HP - Damage Done by Character = Damage
I reallly don't know anything about damage formula
I just guessing
Max HP - Current HP = Damage

TheSpoonyBard
03-13-2006, 04:45 PM
I suppose Omnislasher Draco is correct. The damage formula for Everyone's Grudge is 4^[Number of Tonberrys killed]. ^ means 'to the power of'.

Twilight Edge
03-13-2006, 05:19 PM
How does Kuja define trance?

TheSpoonyBard
03-13-2006, 05:30 PM
He describes it as "an eruption of anger against one's surroundings".

Dell
03-14-2006, 02:23 AM
when he see mog trances when protecting eiko at mount gulug?
trances is a surge of emotion, you know.
I dont' play it for a long time so I didn't know much.

Heero Yuy NWZC
03-14-2006, 02:36 AM
he is asking for kuja definition just so you know vivi_ultima, but yeah that is the real definition.

Melodies_of_life
03-14-2006, 01:58 PM
He describes it as the power that he has always needed and wanted, but thats probally not right.

Twilight Edge
03-14-2006, 02:33 PM
It's true but Kuja also said something additional.Be more specific. Therefore, neither are correct at the moment.

SplitProspekt

an eruption of anger against one's surroundings induces a

You're on the right track but there is more,uh-huh.

TheSpoonyBard
03-14-2006, 07:29 PM
So...an eruption of anger against one's surroundings induces a complete Trance! It's not the will to live, nor is it the desire to protect another!

It's Trance! You know how it works. But a normal Trance won't be enough to defeat you... You're all as resilient as oglops. Even tiny moogles possess the power of Trance... When I saw that in Gulug Volcano, I came up with a plan. It was easy. I just needed to borrow the power from wretched souls that can't die... Where did I acquire it? It was the Invincible, or should I say, that large eyeball in the sky? The ship
sucked up the souls of Madain Sari, the Iifa Tree, Alexandria, to feed upon them... When it fought Bahamut at the Iifa Tree, the Invincible drew in a powerful spirit... Can you guess to whom it belonged?

I can't remember anything else he says.

Melodies_of_life
03-14-2006, 11:02 PM
Oh.......I'm not sure but I think he says, "This is the power I have been looking for, the power to destroy."

I thought this was trivia, not a quote thread.

Twilight Edge
03-15-2006, 05:29 AM
I know but the answer IS a quote from Kuja.

ET,your explanation was truly precise*clap clap*.Your go.

Awww we have to wait till ET comes back on.

TheSpoonyBard
03-15-2006, 03:44 PM
There are ways to make Eidolons more powerful/perform different actions by collecting items. Name these items and their effects on the eidolons.

Ace14
03-15-2006, 03:51 PM
Odin- Ancient Aroma, if he doesn't kill an enemy he does wind damage.
Carbuncle- Moonstone, Emerald, Diamond, Has different good status effects on party.
Fenrir- Ancient Aroma, Does wind damage instead.
Dagger and Eiko- Pumice Piece, Makes eidolons do whole scene.
Other Eidolons- get alot of that stone/item to do more damage.

TheSpoonyBard
03-15-2006, 04:06 PM
You got two right. Keep trying.

Dell
03-15-2006, 04:06 PM
Odin- Ancient Aroma, raise the chance of Odin to killed enemy.
Carbuncle- Moonstone, Emerald, Diamond, Has different good status effects on party.
Fenrir- Maiden Prayer, Does wind damage instead.
Dagger and Eiko- Pumice Piece, Makes eidolons do whole scene.
Other Eidolons- get alot of that stone/item to do more damage

How many answer does you want?
you mean all or some?

Thanks Ace14!

TheSpoonyBard
03-15-2006, 04:08 PM
All of them. Set it out like this.

[Eidolon Name] + [Item Name] = [Effect]

Dell
03-15-2006, 04:24 PM
I know some....

Carbuncle + Diamond, Moonstone, Emerald = protect, shell, reflect and vanish can be cast base on the stone you used

Fenrir + Maiden Prayer = Cause Wind Damage, Millenial Decay.

Odin + Ancient Aroma = Gives Odin's Sword ability to Dagger which increases the chance of killing the enemies, about giving the wind damage, I don't know since I'm not putting Dagger in my party (I put Eiko). I only read the description.

Pumice Piece + Summoners = They call forth an Eidolons with full scene

Phoenix + Phoenix Pinion = every phoenix pinion will add 2% of getting auto-life phoenix (just guessing, I heard it somewhere)

Leviathan, Ifrit, Ramuh, Shiva, Bahamut, Atomos, Madeen and Ark damage maybe depends on their stone.

Leviathan power + Aquamarine = dmg.
Ifrit power + Topaz = dmg.
Ramuh power + Peridot = dmg.
Shiva power + Opal = dmg.
Bahamut power + Garnet = dmg.
Atomos power + Amethyst = dmg.
Madeen power + Ribbon = dmg.
Ark power + Lapis Lazuli = dmg.

I'm just guessing, don't take it seriously.

TheSpoonyBard
03-15-2006, 04:33 PM
Carbuncle, Leviathan, Ifrit, Ramuh, Shiva, Bahamut, Atomos, and Ark are correct.
You're missing something for Fenrir.
You're missing something for Odin.
Phoenix and Madeen are wrong.

Dell
03-15-2006, 04:59 PM
I remember some, I don't know if it correct.
according to my last post, I only got Odin, Madeen, Phoenix and Fenrir wrong.

Odin power + Ore = chances of killing, if you equip Ancient Aroma, he will do non-elemental damage to enemy (with dagger Odin's sword ability)

Fenrir power + Sapphire = dmg. = both on wind and earth attack need sapphire

Phoenix power + character spirit = max HP recovered, auto-phoenix ability
256 phoenix pinion for the confirm auto-phoenix but that's impossible.

Madeen power + Eiko's level = dmg.

Oh yeah, about the Carbuncle, haste can also be cast.

TheSpoonyBard
03-15-2006, 05:22 PM
Work on Odin and Phoenix a bit more.

Dell
03-15-2006, 05:27 PM
Since I can't think of more, I might as well take some from the web:

PHOENIX
Rebirth Flame: Normal Version.
Eiko summons Phoenix to inflict a small to moderate amount of fire-elemental damage on all enemies, while all KO'd allies are brought back to life with (30 + their Spirit stat)% of their Max HP recovered. The amount of damage and HP recovered is weaker if the shortened version of the summon is activated.

Rebirth Flame: Auto Version.
This summon ability is activated when all characters are KO'd. Eiko consumes no MP to have a chance at reviving all characters with (30 + their Spirit stat)% Max HP recovered, however no damage is done to the enemy. The chance of this happening is equal to the number of Phoenix Pinions in your inventory ÷ 256.

ODIN
When Odin is summoned either one of two things will happen. Note though that the following attacks will be weaker if a shortened animation occurs.
1) He will causes instant death to each enemy with a chance of (#Ores in stock ÷ 2)%. If that fails, Odin will miss.

2) If Garnet is equipped with the Odin's Sword ability, then Odin will inflict non-elemental damage on all enemies that survived his instant death attack. (Spell power = 142 - #Ores in stock).

Eidolon: Trance Version (0 MP)
After being summoned, a shorter animation will activate at intervals to cause non-elemental damage on all enemies. This continues until Garnet uses another Eidolon. (Spell power: 49)

If I'm happen to be right, you just take the turn over again, I'm not feeling very good these day.

TheSpoonyBard
03-15-2006, 05:32 PM
Did you get that from ffonline? Their Phoenix information is wrong. If you work it out using what they said, the chance of Phoenix activating automatically is 0.38617875%, which is ridiculous.

Dell
03-16-2006, 03:35 AM
here, I take from GameFAQ

Let's look at
Phoenix. Now as I said in the Summons section of this guide I said that Phoenix
can revive KOed party members. He does this when you use him to attack. But he
can come to your aid when all of your party is KOed. Yes, just like the Phoenix
and Final Attack Materia combo in FFVII, Phoenix can save you. Now for Phoenix
to do this you need to have at least 1 Phoenix Pinion. But it is a very little
chance that you will revive someone with 1 Phoenix Pinion. The formula below
shows how it goes.

No. of Phoenix Pinions / 258 * 100

So you divide the number of your Phoenix Pinions by 258 then multiply that by
100. This gives you the percent chance to revive a party member. If you have 1
Phoenix Pinion you only have a 4.2% percent chance. If you have 99 Phoenix
Pinions you have a 38.3% chance.

TheSpoonyBard

Ok, next question.

Twilight Edge
03-16-2006, 05:19 PM

Ace14

Yup.

Dell

I don't know much now, but it's an easy question?
how many staff (VIVI staff) does the game put? name the weapon
tell the number then the name.

it's easy.

_yeojina_
03-18-2006, 03:53 AM
I have a feeling that is slightly incorrect. If it is, someone get a sledgehammer and beat my useless brains out and feed it to you pet cat (If you have one, that is). Here is my I-think-it-is-correct-I'm-not-too-sure list of the Eidolons and their attack name-thingies.

Shiva: Diamond Dust
Ifrit: Flames of Hell
Ramuh: Judgement Bolt
Atomos: G-Force 199
Odin: Zantetsuken
Leviathan: Tsunami
Bahamut: Mega Flare
Ark: Eternal Darkness
Carbuncle: Ruby Light, Diamond Light, Emerald Light, Pearl Light
Fenrir: Terrestial Rage, Millennial Decay
Phoenix: Rebirth Flame
Madeen: Terra Homing
The difference is in Shiva. *Gets sledgehammer ready*

Twilight Edge
03-18-2006, 04:49 AM
You're technically both right but yeojina's a little more accurate. So,yeojina, your go.

P.S:Sorry for forgetting, vivi, but Alexander is not included because you can't use him.(in my opinion that is)

yeojina, be hurry.
i post an easy trivia while we wait.
Name two way of gaining Pumice.

Angel Heart
03-24-2006, 02:49 PM

TheSpoonyBard

Angel Heart
03-25-2006, 10:00 AM
This'll probably be easy.

Who always sounds so gruff:mog:

Shotgunnova
03-25-2006, 10:27 AM
Amarant comes to mind, but I don't really think anyone's that gruff.

Angel Heart

It's not Amarant.

Dell
03-25-2006, 01:23 PM

[Q] -- Where can you find the NPC Yaup?

Dell
03-27-2006, 02:30 AM
LindBlum or Alexandria?

Angel Heart
03-27-2006, 04:04 PM
What's a NPC yaup? I've never seen anything like that in ff9.

Quindiana Jones
03-27-2006, 06:17 PM
Non-Playable-Character Yaup. Yaup must be the name.
I'm going for Esto Gaza.

Shotgunnova
03-28-2006, 04:36 AM
NPCs are just people you meet in places and aren't mandatory to talk to. And it's not Esto Gaza.

PS - Double answers don't count (and I want the answer to be reasonably specific, too)

Ace14
03-28-2006, 04:49 AM
Specific how? I'm guessing somewhere in Dali.

Shotgunnova
03-28-2006, 06:43 AM
Not Dali.

Specific as in the screen. You can't do an umbrella guess like "Lindblum" because it has about twentysome screens. That's just lazy. I'll give a hint after the next couple guesses, though.

Kid X
03-28-2006, 11:15 AM

TheSpoonyBard
03-28-2006, 02:36 PM
Ok, there are two questions here. You can choose to answer either one, or both if you're feeling confident.

i) There are five ways of obtaining a Protect Ring. Name them.
ii) Explain how the Restore HP ability works.

Dell
03-28-2006, 03:45 PM
i) There are five ways of obtaining a Protect Ring. Name them.
1. Why is ET always giving hard question......?
ii) Explain how the Restore HP ability works. = Restore HP at the end of battle?

I think I choose number two, since I can't really remember how to get things.

Angel Heart
03-28-2006, 04:03 PM
5 Way's to get Protect Ring-

1. Buy One
2. Steal One
3. Complete Mognet Sidequest
4. Trade points at Chocobo Forest
5. Get from Chocobo Treasure Hunt

Restore HP never seem's to work for me, so i don't know that one.

TheSpoonyBard
03-28-2006, 04:07 PM
AH, only two of those are right.
v_u, your answer for ii wrong.

Angel Heart
03-28-2006, 04:17 PM
1. Trade Choco Points
2. Synth
3. Buy from Treno Auction
4. Complete Mognet Sidequest
5. Use a Dead Pepper in sea or on mountain.

TheSpoonyBard
03-28-2006, 04:24 PM
That's four right. One to go. Can you be a bit more specific, i.e. say where it is Synthed and where you need to use a Dead Pepper?.

Angel Heart
03-28-2006, 04:27 PM
Which one is wrong?

TheSpoonyBard
03-28-2006, 04:54 PM
Number 3.

Angel Heart
03-28-2006, 05:04 PM
1. Trade Choco Points
2. Synth in Hades Shop
3. Complete Mognet Sidequest
4. Use a Dead Pepper on M.Crack near Esto Gaza
5. Recieve from stellazzios sidequest

If any of these are wrong plz give a hint ET.:greenie:

TheSpoonyBard

How many H&C points do you need? Number 5 is wrong.

Vivisteiner
03-28-2006, 05:44 PM

TheSpoonyBard
03-28-2006, 05:47 PM

Ace14
03-29-2006, 05:25 AM
1. Trade Choco Points
2. Synth in Hades Shop
3. Complete Mognet Sidequest
4. Use a Dead Pepper on Mountain Crack near Esto Gaza
5. Get one from Ragtime Mouse

TheSpoonyBard
03-29-2006, 05:51 PM
They're all correct, Ace.

Ace14
03-31-2006, 11:31 PM
Yay. If anybody read the Trivia that I had before sorry for changing it. My new triva question is which bosse/monster gives the most exp.
EDIT: That includes optional bosses.

Dell
04-01-2006, 03:03 AM
bosses: Ozma/Hades?
normal: 4 Yan altogether

Angel Heart
04-01-2006, 10:28 AM
Monsters: 4 Yan.
Bosses: Does Ragtime Mouse count? If you answer all his questions right he gives loads of EXP.

Ace14
04-03-2006, 03:36 AM
Angel Hearts: Yes Ragtime Mouse counts, but he/she is not part of the answer.
Vivi_ultima: You got all of them right, BUT you need one more boss/enemie.:D
EDIT: Oh yeah, four enemies don't count it's just single enemies/ bosses.

TheSpoonyBard
04-03-2006, 03:51 AM
Enemy: Yan (42,673)
Boss: Ozma (65,535), Hades (65,535), Quale (65,535)

Vivi123
04-03-2006, 01:14 PM
ii) Explain how the Restore HP ability works.

When you get low HP. Restore HP will restore your HP.

TheSpoonyBard
04-04-2006, 04:03 AM
We're not on that question anymore Vivi, and that answer's not quite right.

Dell

it's your turn now, ET.

Ace14
04-04-2006, 11:32 PM

TheSpoonyBard

Since it hasn't been answered yet...

Q. Explain in detail how the Restore HP ability works.

Ummm... is it after battle you get HP or if your at yellow it's like SOS Regen?

TheSpoonyBard
04-04-2006, 11:41 PM
No quite. Certain things must happen before you'll see it activated.

Ace14
04-04-2006, 11:47 PM
Is it everytime it's the characters turn with the ability on they get HP.

TheSpoonyBard
04-04-2006, 11:52 PM
Nope.

Ace14
04-04-2006, 11:58 PM
Hint... PLEASE!

TheSpoonyBard

Hint. (http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/game/197338.html)

Ace14
04-05-2006, 12:09 AM
Ummmm... It didn't let me go to any of the FAQ's or anything else for some reason. Any other hints? If not I can keep guessing.:D

Angel Heart
04-05-2006, 03:56 PM
Does it only start to work when your near death in battle?

TheSpoonyBard
04-05-2006, 05:12 PM
In a way, yes, Angel Heart, but there's more to it. If no-one gets it by tomorrow I'll reveal the answer and someone else can have a go.

Evolavas
04-05-2006, 09:15 PM
When your hp gets into a critical state....?
- and when it's turned on i guess.

Ace14
04-05-2006, 11:21 PM
When you die you come back once? :D

Dell
04-06-2006, 04:09 AM
In battle, if a character gets 'Near Death' status (HP number value is in
yellow rather than white numbers), their HP are restored.

TheSpoonyBard
04-06-2006, 09:26 AM
No-one got it, so anyone can ask a question. Restore HP will recover 50% of the character's maximum HP if they are attacked while they have critical HP.

Angel Heart
04-06-2006, 10:04 AM
I did'nt know that, but i was close so i'll post one.

In what location do you find the Stellazio Libra.
And if you got all the one's you were able to get previously, What do you recieve for giving it to Queen Stella in Treno.

TheSpoonyBard
04-06-2006, 10:18 AM
i) Madain Sari, beside the fountain
ii) 5,000 gil

Angel Heart
04-06-2006, 10:25 AM
Your right on the location, but wrong on the reward.

TheSpoonyBard
04-06-2006, 10:37 AM
You sure? The first is Aries, then Cancer, Gemini, Taurus and then Libra. The reward for the fifth Stellazzio is 5,000 gil.

Angel Heart
04-06-2006, 10:49 AM
Positive, Libra's not the fifth one you come across.

TheSpoonyBard
04-06-2006, 10:55 AM
Ah, it's the seventh (add Scorpio and Virgo to the list), so that's 10,000 gil.

Angel Heart
04-06-2006, 10:58 AM
IT'S YOUR GO ENDLESS TWILIGHT.

The Void
04-10-2006, 12:06 PM
I'll post one until Endless Twilight post's his.

What's the name of the bloke who didn't fix South Gate, the one Steiner talks too.

Angel Heart
04-11-2006, 12:47 PM
I don't think the bloke in south gate has a name. He's just called worker.

The Void
04-11-2006, 01:46 PM
I don't think the bloke in south gate has a name. He's just called worker.

That's his name in the game, Worker. Your go, unless Endless Twilight wants his go.:mog:

Angel Heart

What monsters can Quina learn White Wind from.

TheSpoonyBard
04-11-2006, 05:48 PM
Quina can learn White Wind from Zuu, Griffin, Garuda and Zemzelett.

Angel Heart
04-12-2006, 10:09 AM

TheSpoonyBard
04-12-2006, 02:45 PM
What are all the possible rewards for winning the Festival of the Hunt?

The Void
04-12-2006, 02:48 PM
Easy-

1.If Zidane wins-5000 Gil
2.If Freya wins-Coral Ring
3.If Vivi wins-Theatre Ship Card

TheSpoonyBard
04-12-2006, 03:03 PM

Fantasy Fan
04-12-2006, 03:25 PM
Who is Bakku?

TheSpoonyBard
04-12-2006, 03:33 PM
Fantasy Fan, wait until The Void posts his question. The answer to yours is the leader of Tantalus. Also, your sig is too tall. You'd better change it before a CK spots it.

The Void
04-12-2006, 04:10 PM
Who is Bakku?
Is that the question or do you just want to know, anyway like ET said he's the leader of Tantalus.

I'll post mine-

What's the first thing Eiko says in the game.

Twilight Edge
04-12-2006, 04:33 PM
Something about stuck on a tree branch?

TheSpoonyBard
04-12-2006, 06:40 PM
Is it "Mog, hurry!"?

Quindiana Jones
04-12-2006, 06:44 PM
"I don't wanna be alone anymore". Says so on the menu. :D

The Void
04-12-2006, 06:52 PM
Is it "Mog, hurry!"?

Yep.

Quindiana Jones
04-12-2006, 06:56 PM

TheSpoonyBard

What is the name of Part-time Worker Mary's item shop?

Shotgunnova
04-23-2006, 11:25 AM
[A] - Item Shop VEGA.

Quindiana Jones
04-23-2006, 02:27 PM
You must've just played through the game :D

TheSpoonyBard
04-23-2006, 02:33 PM
Shotgunnova is correct.

Shotgunnova
04-23-2006, 04:22 PM
Since we talked about Mary...

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 03:58 PM
I'll post one till Ace14 does he's-

Who's the only main character you don't get to control?

TheSpoonyBard
04-30-2006, 05:07 PM
Brahne, Kuja, and Garland. All depends on how you define 'main character'.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 05:25 PM
No, i mean the playable characters out of battle.
Who's the only one you don't control.

TheSpoonyBard
04-30-2006, 05:31 PM
You mean who do you get to control on the field but not in battle? Regent Cid.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 05:34 PM
No, this character you get to control in battle, but never out.
It's one of the main one's.

TheSpoonyBard
04-30-2006, 05:51 PM
Beatrix.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 05:56 PM
No.

TheSpoonyBard
04-30-2006, 06:00 PM
Blank, Marcus, Cinna? This question has really confused me. Not that its particularly difficult, but the wording is weird.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 06:07 PM
All those are wrong.

By control, i mean running around and stuff.
One of the eight main character's you never get to control.

TheSpoonyBard
04-30-2006, 06:14 PM
Amarant.

Quindiana Jones
04-30-2006, 06:15 PM
Amarant.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 06:18 PM
Yes.

See it was easy.

Quindiana Jones
04-30-2006, 06:22 PM
Damn you ET. Damn YOUUUUU! :D

TheSpoonyBard
04-30-2006, 06:26 PM

Which Pluto Knight would rather be an author, and which number knight is he?

Laudo...Number....4 I think.

TheSpoonyBard
04-30-2006, 06:31 PM
Yea, that's it. PQ, your turn.

Quindiana Jones
04-30-2006, 06:32 PM
By God, I'm good.
What is Zidane's first memory? You'll have to excuse the wording, but it should be easy enough to understand.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 06:34 PM
A blue light.

Quindiana Jones
04-30-2006, 06:37 PM
Indeed it is. Here, have the baton *hands over baton*.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 06:53 PM
Cheers.

What's Zidane's last name.

Rantz
04-30-2006, 06:55 PM
Tribal.

What's the first and last name of the actor who is "too big for his britches"?

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 06:56 PM
Yep.

Quindiana Jones
04-30-2006, 07:03 PM
Lowell...I'll be damned if I can remember the rest.

Cid Vicious
04-30-2006, 07:31 PM
Lowell Bridges.

Fantasy Fan

How old is Kuja?

Quindiana Jones
04-30-2006, 08:59 PM
That's the one.

Rantz
04-30-2006, 10:27 PM
Correct, Vandal.

How old is Kuja?
Is this a joke or is it actually found out in the game?

Twilight Edge
05-01-2006, 07:46 AM
28.Zidane's 16,a genome with a soul is born every twelve years.Kuja discarded him right after he was born.Therefore,16+12=28.

Cid Vicious
05-01-2006, 12:32 PM
So who's go is it.

Quindiana Jones
05-01-2006, 04:17 PM
Well it was yours anyway. FF Fan keeps chucking in questions whenever.

Cid Vicious
05-01-2006, 04:32 PM
How many Elixers are found in Treasure Chests throughout the game?

Quindiana Jones
05-01-2006, 05:43 PM
I can only remember 4, 5ish.

Cid Vicious
05-01-2006, 05:53 PM
No.

Throughout the game is too hard.
So just the First Disc.

TheSpoonyBard
05-01-2006, 06:27 PM
I'd guess at 13 in the game, 2 on disc 1.

Cid Vicious
05-01-2006, 07:59 PM
Yep.
Your go.

TheSpoonyBard
05-01-2006, 08:06 PM
I got that right? That surprises me.

Give five uses for the Spirit stat.

Quindiana Jones
05-01-2006, 08:29 PM
Damn. I've read all 5 somewhere, but can only remember 3.

Ace14
05-03-2006, 11:34 PM
Spirit stat? You mean the land spirits?

Rantz
05-04-2006, 01:51 PM
You gain Trance faster
Critical hits more often
Bad status effects last shorter, good lasts longer
Raises succesful rate of Steal
Counter attack more often
Faster ATB gauge
Stronger effect from abilities

That was seven =P
I'm sure there's many more though...

TheSpoonyBard
05-04-2006, 02:30 PM
You've got the five I was looking for, so it's your turn.

Ace14
05-05-2006, 12:58 AM
spirit stat?

TheSpoonyBard
05-05-2006, 01:02 AM
On the left of the Equipment screen you've got Speed, Strength, Magic and Spirit in one section, Attack, Defence, Evade, Magic Defence and Magic Evade in another.

Rantzien, we're waiting on your question. Make it a good'un.

Rantz
05-05-2006, 07:38 AM
What is the reward for catching 99 frogs with Quina?
(Too easy?)

TheSpoonyBard
05-05-2006, 09:43 AM
The 'reward' for catching 99 frogs is a battle with Quale. If you manage to defeat him you'll get Quina's Gastro Fork. The rewards you'll collect on the way to 99 are a Silk Robe, an Elixir, a Silver Fork, a Bistro Fork and some Battle Boots.

Rantz
05-05-2006, 10:26 AM

Fully correct

TheSpoonyBard
05-05-2006, 10:36 AM
Who did Virgo kiss, and which stellazzio reveals this information?

Quindiana Jones
05-05-2006, 12:15 PM
Woops. I wrote all the things down (I like the little stories :D) but not the names. I can quote it, tell you who kissed Virgo, where you can get it, and the prize for getting it. But I'll be damned if I can remember the name.

TheSpoonyBard
05-05-2006, 12:23 PM
Give it a go the best you can.

Quindiana Jones
05-05-2006, 12:25 PM
Nah. I can't even remember the first letter of it's name. I'll just let someone else come in. Personally I blame Thingfish. His brilliant riddle made me accidently save over my best game, which had the info. Grr him. Grr him to Hell.

Dell
05-05-2006, 05:31 PM
I think it's Aeris and was explained in Libra.

Ace14
05-06-2006, 07:31 AM
Didn't Scorpio kiss virgo or something and it said in...I don't know.:D

Shotgunnova
05-06-2006, 08:52 AM
As per reading the Opiuchus Stellazzio, you find out Scorpio kissed Virgo.

Ace14
05-06-2006, 09:00 AM
Was I right?

Dell
05-06-2006, 09:56 AM
You didn't explained what Stellazzio says that so I think Shotgunnova get it.

Ace14
05-06-2006, 09:57 AM
Oh well.:D

Quindiana Jones
05-06-2006, 01:14 PM
Ah so it did begin with an "O"...

TheSpoonyBard
05-06-2006, 05:45 PM
Shotgunnova got it.

Quindiana Jones
05-06-2006, 08:15 PM
Opiuchus...that sounds familiar to me. And not just in the FF9 sense. Does anyone know anything about Opiuchus?

Cid Vicious
05-06-2006, 08:31 PM
Opiuchus...that sounds familiar to me. And not just in the FF9 sense. Does anyone know anything about Opiuchus? There's a Variable Star named Opiuchus.

It's probably got something to do with Greek Mythology as well.

Quindiana Jones
05-06-2006, 08:43 PM
Ah yes. Stars. I like stars (that came out a bit stupidly). Definitely Greek.

Shotgunnova

TheSpoonyBard
05-13-2006, 11:15 PM
Sorry, Ace, but Amarant is the only character who can have 9,999 HP. Try again.

Rantz
