Soundgarden or Nirvana?

Right, so I found this question in Rocksound, they were interviewing random people from MySpace and I want to know your reactions

I'm a big fan of Nirvana but they just can't win this one in my books. Soundgarden all the way.

I'll take Nirvana because I haven't heard much of Soundgarden and Nirvana changed my whole musical tastes when I was an 8 year old kid, and I wouldn't be who I am today if I didn't get given one of their tapes, even if I don't listen to them anymore. So yeah.

Here's how i'd rank their (3 of each) albums.

1. Superunknown
2. Bleach
3. In Utero
4. Badmotorfinger
5. Nevermind
6. Down The Upside

I'd say that was a narrow win for Nirvana, but Soundgarden are still awesome

I listen to both, but I give Soundgarden the edge because of "Black Hole Sun" and "Spoonman".

However I think Alice in Chains is better than both of them.

I like both Soundgarden and Nirvana. I listen to Nirvana regularly though, but Soundgarden I do not, so I guess I would have to choose Nirvana over Soundgarden.

I'll have to Soundgarden all the way. Fell on Black Days and Black Hole Sun just speak for themselves. Plus, at last year's Audioslave concert that I went to, Cornell did an acoustic version of Black Hole Sun that was awesome.

I haven't heard Soundgarden, though I've been told by very credible sources I'd most likely like them. I hate Nirvana on the other hand. I won't vote since I haven't heard Soundgarden, but it'd be hard for me to imagine I could hate them more than Nirvana.

Id have to listen to sound garden but never the less, Nirvana is and will always be my second favorite band. If not, first. Nothing can stop them in my taste. I just like Blink 182 over them by 2 hairs. They (Nirvana) just amaze me. They're just too damn good...
