As for this post count stuff, it does not matter how many posts you have, or how many votes you got. Having a lot of posts only means you like to post a lot, it does not make you more popular. Just be yourself and you'll make more friends and you may even be able to be more popular. The post counts were taken off for reason's similiar than this, which would result in spamming. And the votes, well they don't matter either. If you didn't get a vote, it doesn't mean you aren't liked. So don't take them personal, besides, a lot of you complaining, this is your first awards, many people have been here through three or four and have recieved a minimal amount of votes. Big deal. So, don't worry about it, if there were more categories, you may have been voted for one of those.

Dr. Unne has been with this board as long as I have, since December of 1999. He is, I believe, the third person to ever be an admin (after Cid and Quigoni, I think).

I'm not saying this to suck up or anything to that regard, but this board is 400% better with Unne in a position of power. He is very fair, very intelligent, and I've hardly ever seen him make a decision that I don't agree with.

And you've never seen him around? Looking at the memberlist and sorting by posts, he has the 3rd most posts in this incarnation of the boards (since march of this year, I believe).

Unne IS the EoFF MVP, and there's no doubt in my mind that he is the most deserving of that award. While these are just for fun anyway, don't be saying anything bad about Unne. It's obvious by the amount of total votes he received that I'm not the only one of this opinion.

Generally these things do end up going to admins or veterans, it's because peeps automatically think of them when they vote. Most of the time it's because they are more familiar to everybody and are more likely to be voted. Though it isn't really fair that's what happens. I got nominated for 5 awards (if you count my thread as the 5th) and I only came a month ago. It all depends on what award peeps think you should be awarded. Most of the time the award given is well deserved.
