My friend burned me a cd of them, he's giving it to me tomorrow, but to be honest, they sound okay, but the radio stations around here overplay 'The Suffering' so much I change the station as soon as I hear the first notes. It just gets really annoying. But as musicians, they're good.

I think they're pretentious and they're recent album illustrates why albums only about stories should go away. I think they enjoy appearing "clever" with albums like "Buring Star".
However, they're talented musicians.

I think I like maybe one of their songs. Pretentious really does spring to mind when I think of C&C.

By calling them pretentious you yourself are falling into that category.

There's nothing pretentious about them. Coldplay are pretentious, Madonna, U2, Metallica.

Understand the word before using it. They are a great band & even better live. Their albums are story based...but who cares? I don't try & understand it album by album, I just listen & like the music. They format their albums that way because it's the way they want to format it. Not to appear superior to anyone. It just links to their comic books, that's who Coheed & Cambria are, 2 comic book characters. The hint was in the name.

Yeah you can only listen to Coheed and Cambria for so long...then it gets annoying. I have the CD on my ipod and Welcome Home is good for game bosses. Great theme music.
