Question and Eternal Crystals

The 1st question pertains to the game. I've beat it twice but I havent played in a while I'm in South Figaroa and I think I go to Mt Kolts next, but I want to get that old guy his cider that he says he wont talk to me till I give him some damn cider? I'm tired of lookin for it, and i dont feel like checkin a walkthrough...wheres the cider?

More importantly though at the same time as I'm playing 6 (the real 6 translated, which I must say I prefer to 3 woosley style) I'm also playing a patched rom called FF6 eternal crystals. And I gotta say: Its a pretty damn good story so far. I'm half tempted to bail on 6(J) and play only 6(EC). I'm only to south figeroa, but the coolest thing about it is that Edgar is a DRAGOON!!! He has the jump attack and all, plus his machine skills. I read the read me for this game and it says alot was changed to make it more of an original FF. Has anyone played or beat this one yet? I'd like to know if the story continues to be good (I know it focuses more around the crystals and the light warriors). Anyone?

um, where does on get the EC version?

also, you don't need cider unless it's locke's scenario. if it is locke's scenario it's under the inn/pub. go beat the merchant.

So far its almost completely different from the normal 6. Now what is this scenario though? I dont remember choosing. Started as Terra, fell, locke rescued, got edgar, went to south figeroa, no cider. I'll check the Pub and merchant again though, musta issed it. All i found was Shadow. But im playing both EC and 6J town to town so who knows how long it'll take to finish EC. I'll keep letting ppl know how it is

After you get through the lete river, it allows you to pick who's scenerio to follow, Lockes, sabins or Terra, Edger and bannons. When you go through locks thats when you do it.
