Not !!
Apparantly, Bloodrayne sucks.
So, whos watching ?
Why do they keep putting him in charge? Oh well. I guess he can't take all the blame. Work with what you got. He's just the director right? He didn't influence anyone to make crappy dialogue good. But then, he also didn't screenwrite the crappy dialogue either. I refused to have interest in this simply because he was tied to it :/

I'll be watching BloodRayne for the simple reason that Michael Madsen stars in it. Ive nevre played a single one of the games :D

Uwe Boll made a pact with Satan. That's the only rational explanation.

So the movie cost around $47 million to make and advertise and made less than 3 million in 2 weekends. Don't click on any links. I just stole the HTML from www.boxofficemojo.com .
This is probably going to remain the bomb of the year.
As to your question...not many people are watching it seems.

lol Uwe Boll.
See how that rhymes?
Also, he did do one good thing. He inspired me to come up with the word 'Boll<img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif"><img src="/xxx.gif">'.
lol Uwe Boll.

I heard he wants to get his hands on a Half-Life script. He's also in talks about directing a FarCry movie. Not that any movie based on a video game was good, but this guy makes them suck even more.
Woo has Metroid, right? So there's still hope. Its not that the idea of a video-game based movie is bad. Just the people they put behind it always have no clue what they're doing :/ I'd like to see a good game-to-movie conversion. The comic book movies aren't fairing too bad (hit or miss. But at least some of them kinda hit. X3 looks awesome ^_^)

At least comic book franchises have a stroy behind them already. Most of these movies BASED on video games pull stories out of thin air.

I will be very, very upset if he touches Half-life. Which, really, shouldn't be made into a movie anyhow. It would not compliment the series in the least.

Apparently he also wanted to do Metal Gear Solid, but Hideo Kojima declined.

The term you're looking for is "laughed in his face"
I really hope he did laugh in his face. Besides, Kojima could create a way better (computer?) animated MGS movie if he felt a movie was a better idea. It'd keep the character looking like he actually should, and they'd be able to keep all the voices and whatnot.

I would like that idea cause Kojima would be calling the shots and MGS is his creation, so it would only be fitting if he made the movie, hopefully animated. If not I say Hugh Jackman plays Snake :D

Yeah Hollywood are after Half Life. Its sad though cause even though I barely played the game, I still enjoyed watching my boyfriend enjoy it so much. I wish Hollywood would get off its lasy arse and come up with their own ideas, instead of creating something that already excists and should be left in its chosen media field.

You're thinking about Halo, but Half-Life is under consideration for a movie, as well.
