Whoes the hardest boss?

Who does everyone think is the hardest boss in the game?
I was wondering because I always find Sephiroth very hard to defeat and Ansem really easy to defeat.There are also all the other bosses like Kurt Ziza and the Phantom at the clocktower.

for some reason i found the 2nd riku fight at Hollow Bastion really hard! i give up and didnt go on KH for ages then i went back on and defeated him! And the phantom fight is hard too.

i think the game is made such that sephiroth would be the strongest boss.some might think otherwise,and i have an explanation for that.

it's just that,through time,as people saw how difficult sephiroth was,they started making guides with total focus on sephiroth.so when other people saw these guides,sephiroth seemed easier because they know what to do,while the other difficult bosses without focused and dedicated guides (kurt ziza,clock tower phantom,etc.) seemed a bit harder.there are more people who fully studied sephiroth's actions than people who fully studied the other bosses.

see?if you know what to do,basically everything gets so so so much easier.

Kurt Zisa is kinda difficult, Phantom requires patients and Sephy is hell.

Of the three I failed to beat Sephyt as of yet.

In optional bosses i thought that the Phantom and Sephiroth were tied, i had a heck of a time beating them. For non-optional bosses i thought the first Ursula form was hard (just because it took me a while to figure out what you should be attacking in that fight and when).

I hope you guys don't laugh at me.... but i find the 2nd Ansem fight on the fake Destiny Islands thing pretty hard. You know the one where he is darting at you with the Guardian guy. Well, i always find that hard. The last Ansem fight is really easy compared to that!!! :)

I would say, they all have a pattern. If you know the pattern, you beat the boss. So they are all supremly easy.

Long range attacks does not make a hard boss. You are in a restricted arena, though.

The hardest bosses definately are Riku 2, Sephiroth, Phantom, Kurt Zisa, and I strongly agree with White Aeris on Ansem 2.

Ansem 2 is a bit easy compared with Sephy, Phantom and kurt Ziza but if you block that cross arena attack it's easy:)

the ansem in the tree is hard because you have a series of fights in a row without any break in between.

The Phantom is another boss that makes me mad. You need to be attentive and have a lot of mp.

I still think that Sephiroth is very hard and i am level 100 i have only defeated him about 5 at most times before. My HP is very high but he can still take away about one sixth of my health with one hit!

Yay i wasnt alone in thinking that Ursula was hard. Besides her i found most boss battles easy and could usually do them without dying (i think the only other boss battle i died in was against Riku). I found that most the bosses in this game looked impressive but would have one incrediable flaw or another that made them hard to defeat. For example Maleficent, Cerebus, and Dual Horn could all easy be defeated by just jumping on their backs and then bashing and blasting away at them.

that guy can be hard cause I dont think you have cure at that point, but I have had trouble with the Trickmaster in Wonderland before, for some weird reason

The only two bosses i cant beat are the Phantom of the clock tower, and Sephiroth.:mad:
But the second fight with Riku and the final battle with Ansem pissed me off. I thought Kurt Ziza was one of the easiest battles when you figured out to dodge roll when he came at you while spining with his swords.

If we're talking about annoying (not hard) then ursula 2 is a bit of a pain. The camera is horrible, especially if you go to the back of her head to fight (which is the logical thing to do).

If we're talking about annoying (not hard) then ursula 2 is a bit of a pain. The camera is horrible, especially if you go to the back of her head to fight (which is the logical thing to do).If you go to the back of her head and lock on, Donald and Goofy will stay there fighting her while all you have to do is dodge till she dies. And score the final hit.

I've passed the level about 25 times so i don't find it hard. I was just commenting on how annoying the camera is and her voice is just as bad.

Yes and no. his speed after a successful sin harvest presents a fatal problem. I myself have only beaten him twice. Once you get the hang of the battle near the climax of the battle, I think it gets easier.

after fighting sephy alot to level to 100, i find him easy now. (heartless angel is the only thing to worry about.)

i found phantom the most annoying...probably the fact that you cant do alot of damage at once, making the battle really long. (although, humourously, i beat it with oblivion:D and i complained about running out of mp all the time:p )

i also beat sephy with lady luck..before i got ultima weapon. who doesnt love 2 more mp? (before ultima weapon)

1. Selphie

4. Maleficent (Both forms)
5. Rock Titan! Cast Aero. It does damage to some bosses!

Selphie, Tidus and Wakka aren't bosses nor is wakka hard. They're there to get you accustomed to the fighting style and help you level up.

The trick is to stay near and just wach him with your keyblade like a crazyman.

Well, Phantom isn't as hard as "annoying as hell". I'm used to Sephiroth's attack patterns, and I have Ultima Weapon, so as long as I can interrupt Sin Harvest, he's pretty easy for me.

Sephy, the Agrabah guy and Phantom are not so hard as they are annoying. I don't know quite what the whole deal is with everyone saying they're so hard. But for some reason, that second Riku fight was hell for me. As pathetic as it sounds, I go back to refight that battle sometimes and I STILL lose. Maybe it's my freakishly low level. And Ansem sucked as a final boss.

Thinking back, I definitely found Phantom the most annoying and Ether-consuming. Especially because I beat it with Oblivion...:eep:

Sephy is easy when you know his attack pattern. (Doing what Ultima Shadow did isn't so easy though...)

Kurt Zisa is annoying, but not as much as Phantom. Kinda tricky for me to dodge roll the spinny-blade attack. (When he looks like a propeller...)

As a side note, doesn't Phantom target Sora first with his countdown on Expert Mode? :cat:

kurt zisa was more of a challenge just because he has shilding on everything, disabling ur abilities and is constantly moving everywhere

I always though Sephiroth was easy (especially at Level 70+), but Kurt Zisa was a pain to kill, and the Phantom, while long and tiring, wasn't that hard.
