Just wondering. The discworld novels are my favourite books.
Any thoughts on the books?

Heh, there are others which take the piss outta Scots.
The Wee Free Men is more of a childs book(or intended as one).

I've read several of the Discworld-books (and also "Good Omens", that he co-wrote with Neil Gaiman), and I think he is hilarious. I am reading the Wee Free Men now, unfortunately I didn't know it was meant for children when I bought it. I still find it funny, though.

It is sorta meant for the wee bairns, but its still very good, and theres a sequel to that one, too.

The man is hilarous. The senarios in the books are usually humorous, but i find that usually the funniest things in his books are descirptions. He just describes things in such weird and bizarre ways that its funny.

Love his books, my favourite is Mort because we hear more about Death who next to Rincewind is my favourite character. I also managed to get hold of "Wyrd Sisters" and "Soul Music" DVDs and the PS1 game "Missing Persumed." He is such a talented man and so was Josh Kirby, may he rest in peace.

I havent been enjoying it as much as I thought I would.

Discworld is excellent. Some of the best satire I've ever read.

I used to read him a lot. Small Gods is brilliant, and there are many other classics like Soul Music, Guards, Guards!, and Reaper Man. Good times. Everyone should read Small Gods.
