Okay, you know how everyone has a girl/boyfriend/wife/husband in the game? Well, not really, but I think that Vincent and Yuffie should get together! They would make a cute couple! (overlooking the age difference, of course) what do you think?

Well, he could be 600, but thats highly unlikely as he was a turk, and I doubt the turks were around for 600 years.

I never said he was a turk from the start. But he became a turk before he became a vampire, as some call him, so, so when he joined the turks, he really couldn't have been more than 25 or 30, if you've seen any of the DoC scans.
so If you made any sense of that, he really can't be 600, he's maybe around 60. but he doesn't age (much) cause of Hojo's experments on him before he was locked in the coffin.

The movie takes place 2 years after the game making her 18 and DoC takes place one year after that making her 19. If Vincent wasn't immortal, he'd be 60 like Haschel from Legend of Dragoon.

People like to smoosh Vince and Yuff together 'cause they're both hidden characters. That's the only thing they have in common. The only thing Yuffie's got against the ShinRa is that they turned Wutai into a resort that the company uses for vacation. She's pretty sure that she can free the village by obtaining lots of materia.

Mostly because she's got more of a key role in DoC, I think it would be cool if Yuffie got to Vincent . . . and then got with him..

I find that it's a common misconcpetion to think Vincent and Yuffie would be together. It's just because they're both secret characters that people think they're a couple. Vincent, I think, would be better with Tifa. Cloud with Aeris (RIP). Yuffie with Cid.

Why?

1.Vincent is cold, intelligent and also deep down a nice guy. Tifa is a social butterfly, but very nice. Opposites attract...so there you go.

2.Cloud was meant for Aeris. She has a good sense of humor, so she evens out Cloud's serious nature. There was a connection right from the beginning.

3.Granted, this is a wierd idea, Cid and Yuffie. But Yuffie is a constantly wise-cracking, sarcastic girl with a strong personality. Cid has similar aspects... always a bit sarcastic, and he has strong opinions. Now, to me there is a balance in love. Some parts involve opposites attracting; other aspects exist because of similarities. These two have similarities and differences, as do the other couples.

1. Like Arwen and Aragorn: in this case, Yuffie will die earlier, since Vincent doesn't age.:(

1) Vinny's still hung up over Lucrecia.

2) His constant angsting would eventually drive Yuffie up the wall.

3) Yuffie's constant chattering and such would drive Vincent up the wall.

4) They hardly interact on the game at all.

5) Vincent admitted his love to Lucrecia. If he loved Yuffie he'd admit that the same way.

6) Chaos... Anyone else think Yuffie'd be a little nervous around Vinny after seeing Chaos?

7) Vincent admits that he thinks Yuffie's behaviour is "inexcusable".

This pairing is just for fanfic authors who think they'd make a cute couple. It has no real baseline and if opposites DO attract then I'll end up marrying my science teacher.
