I've been playing for eight years now, and I'm still playing to this day. In fact, I find it more fun than ever before.

What year did FFT come out? However long thats been, I've been playing it off and on. In my huge memory card I must have around 15-20 different gamesaves at 99:99 where I beat it and max'd out lol

It came out in 1998. I remember the day I purchased it, too.

I dont remember the first time I bought it. I know that my brother got it broken (just takes the game out of the ps and puts it on the ground.. sigh), few years after I bought it. Had to go out and buy it again!

Not long, only about 6 months. I would of got the game sooner, but ya, never saw the shores of Britain FFT did.
Beat it only 2 days before christmas.

I got it when it first came out. At first I didn't want to, but my brother told me that the Final Fantasy series have always been cool.

I'm glad I listened: FFT is my favorite FF. :)

I have only been playing for 8 years now. I remember when I first seen it. My friends chocobo was getting the poo beat out of it by some goblins. I thought it was cool and stayed up all night playing it.

I played it soon after it came out at my cousins, but I didn't own it myself until I got a PS2 (finally) for Christmas two years ago. I bought it the next day (I had noticed that the local Target had had several copies). I did not regret the decision.

It doesn't get boring because you're going to see something new in almost every battle. The chances of your units doing the exact same thing in the next battle is slim to none.

Four years now, I imagine. I think I've beaten it once each year, too. One of my favorites of all time.

FFTA...
It looked cool, and it introduces me.
I can't thank Nintendo Power more.
And Golden Sun for getting me into RPGs.
I ain't that old...

I've been playing it since it came out. I remember the first day I bought it, after having stayed up all night playing it at a friend's house. I will occasionally start a new game and max it out when I feel so inclined, as I will with any other classic RPG.

Well, the first time I played it, I rented it. That was right after it came out. I remember seeing a preview for the game on my FFVII demo disc that came with my playstation. So when the game finally came out, I rented it. After renting it a few more times, just to beat Altima, I went on a vacation where my brother suprised me and got it for me for my B-day. Then back at home, a friend wanted to borrow it and he let me borrow chrono Trigger. Then he moved away with my FFT and left me with his SNES CT. I love CT, but I love FFT more. That was in 1999. I acquired the game in 98, lost it in 99.

About three years ago, I was sick of not having it, so I bought a copy from Gamestop. It is, unfortunately, a greatest hits. My other copy was not.

Since then, I've begun my work on mastery of the game.

OOH. New thread idea.

I have been playing it since it came out in '98. I Bought it cause I used to always watch my brother play FFVII, but he would never let me play, When I saw FFT in the stores I bought it so I could have my 'own' ff Game. To this day FFT and FFVII are still my favorites, though I own all of the games in the series now.

about 6.5 - 7 years.

I remember I had to Ride my Bike to the Store to Buy it and i spent all my Monies $$$

lol Now I own 2 copies in case 1 breaks.

in about 7 years ive put in at least 12,000 hours. Beat the Game Dozens of times and Mastered Every Job Dozens of times. and its still Fun and somtimes still challanging when I Limit myself to certain rules ^^

Early 1998, about. I bought it before I played FF7, thankfully.
