I really really hate Machean he is so annoying he rambals on for ages and ages about stuff he dosen't even fully know about. I have played through the game several times and just thought i'd express how annoying i think he gets.

Anyway, I like the old guy. He's my favourite old guy in FF. He helps expalin a lot of stuff in X and X-2. Also X-2 really brings out the character, giving him a backstory and more of a personality than X could ever hope to achieve. He might even be one of my favourite FF characters ever...

I love the back story he gives, makes the whole thing alot deeper. Like if u talk to him at the foot of Mt Gagazet, he tells you he origins of Yu Yevon and what the hymn of the faith really is. I think he really comes into his own in X-2 as well, I like listening to him but then again i have always like history and Philosophy

i like his opinion and his knowledge on the history of Spira. he makes things clearer.

I think he's an awesome character.He really informs us on cool facts and history lessons.
That's what an RPG is about,the story and he gives the story before the story alot of the times.

And if you don't like him you don't have to talk to him.At all.

macheans cool on FFX but probly the only reason i played FFX-2 was because of machean. machean is probly in my top 10 favourite FFX characters
