Pitching man!...pitching!

it happened to Boston as well

Manny and Ortiz are the best back to back punch and hit below 300 in the short series against the Chi Sox. and one homer if I'm right.

Damon's gonna make us win, we just needed a lead off all along, thanks for the favor Boston:tongue: :D

Damon isn't getting younger, and honestly wasn't phenomenal before. A career .784 OPS at age 32 doesn't bode well for a 4-year deal.

But then again, every player is blown out of proportion just because they play on the East Coast. How else can you explain Beckett for Hanley Ramirez?

The Yankees are my favourite team. :) I'm not a huge baseball fan really, I only watch the big games, but I like them.

That's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen a Yankees fan do.

However, it is still better than anything I've ever seen a Red Sox fan do.

You do know they changed their name to the Nationals and moved to Washington, D.C., right?

That is an all star lineup, but Fenway really helped Damon look good. Yankees have no pitching, so they won't go anywhere.

I think Oakland has a decent shot this year. Everyone wrote them off as a rebuilding team last year but they were in the playoff race almost until the end. And now their incredible rookie class is a year older and they have the Big Hurt!

Someone mentioned to me a few days ago how weird it would be seeing the Big Hurt in an A's uniform. Then I reminded him that you'd only see him in an A's uniform for a few innings.

Go, Yankees! Go for the 27th title!

I hope Shawn Chacon gets a rotation spot. He was really useful last year.

haha right. don't make too many plans for that.

Hence the "if". Both teams have question marks, and either way I think it will be close. But I do think that with the improvements we made in the off-season and the hopefully progression of our players we will stand an excellent chance of finally winning the division.

That's what's great about baseball. In February/March/April everybody thinks they have a shot.

There are only two things for certain in baseball:

1. The Braves will win the East
2. Barry Bonds will get walked

haha yeah........baseball is like the most intriguing sport I've ever seen. So unpredictable, but everyone believes in their teams and are very hardcore 'bout it, and you talk about baseball the WHOLE year. It's such a great sport, whether you lose or win it's a wild ride, I love the chances the Mets, Braves, Giants, Dodgers, Cubs, Chi Sox, Blue Jays, Red Sox, and Yankees have..........it's very cool if you ask me:choc2:
