Lulu instead of Paine?

When the game was in early production, a lot of people speculated that the third companion to Yuna and Rikku would be Lulu.

I think the reason lulu isnt a main charecter is becasue shes the wrong generation. The whole of spira is being taken over by the young'uns after the old maesters screwed everything up last time. By having the young people desperate for change and searching for old spheres it add slightly more depth to the story.... not much but a bit. lol

Its not bad. I really like Lu, But Paine gives the story some Mystery. I think they should have both Paine and Lulu.

"Yuna is more active and beginning to show her feelings more openly, and Rikku has been like that from the beginning. With the two being a lot more talkitive, there had to be someone with a calm, cool demeanor who could put a halt to their execessive chattines. If it were Lulu in that role, she would have completely shut them down, and the story wouldn't have advanced at all. But in Paine's case, she she's someone who can remain neutral, keep the others focused, and help the story carry on together with these two girls."

Its not bad. I really like Lu, But Paine gives the story some Mystery. I think they should have both Paine and Lulu.

As much as I didn't like Paine, and as much as I love Lulu, I think it was a good idea not to have her as the "third" party member or whatever. As that article up above already said, her personality just wouldn't fit with those two other girls. She'd be too mature and dark for X-2. It would have been weird, man. WEIRD.

Yeah, Lulu was too mature for them. She wouldnt have let Yuna pull those rediculous stunts, and the came would come to a crashing halt. Plus, it would ruin the energetic teenage feel to it, because Lulu has close to NO energy......it's amazing she could motivate herself to squeeze Vidina out. Also, it would contrast with the "Charlie's Angels" thing going on. :eep: and what would the group be called? YRL or YuRiLu? That sounds dumb......

What whilst shes pregnant? No way, Paine is by far the better choice here. Lulu has had her turn and shes getting ready to play mother. Piane is good for the trio because shes a new, young and mysterious character.

Paines good for me but I still wish it had just been LuLu. They have the same basic personality except Paine is slightly more "HIGH FIVE YEE" then LuLu is. Sure, it would have seemed strange at first, but so did Yuna singing pop songs and shooting guns at everybody.

Luluu would been rock in the game, she just like Paine, cool and don't talk much, just that she's older 5 year. she's pregnant, how can you let a pregnant woman run fast and jumping. It'll ruin the baby.
Should they just put, Calli/Lucil/Elma/Shelinda in the party.

The game will be best if they have all 7 characters in FFX to play role. No summoning makes this game boring.
